Still continuing the discussion of the various network marketing schemes or multi-level marketing schemes (MLMs) that people we know are involved in.

If you have an MLM bot of your own then join us and share their claims and content.

Or if you are researching a company before signing up to be a network marketer please take a look at the previous threads here and here and also this thread which delves deeper into the workings of MLMs.

And don't forget our very own MN MLM Timeless Vie!

wow, so your basic arbonnebot earns a whopping 344 pounds per year. and the shit ones earn 18 pounds. sign me up bitches!

darceybussell · 03/01/2016 19:58

Well actually it's worse than that - the small print at the top says there were 12,300 consultants but only 2,500 got a cheque. So your average bot gets a big fat zero!!

BoGrainger · 03/01/2016 20:03

Interesting reading. Love the 'Arbonne university' Grin

darceybussell · 03/01/2016 20:09

The table only shows the data for the 2,500 bots who actually got paid anything.

lazycoo · 03/01/2016 20:33

The bot who tried to recruit me told me not to read any of the literature as it was all inaccurate. Her team were vastly outperforming those figures.

acatcalledjohn · 03/01/2016 20:41

And I take it you just had to take her word for that, am I right?

lazycoo · 03/01/2016 20:50

Yup cat! She was too greedy. Had she just dialled it back a bit, I might have actually fallen for it.

Quinoa20 · 03/01/2016 21:36

Lol @ the person who wanted to post "smashed it" and upload their PayPal statement.

I get a really nice income from an online business and have done since 2004, I have never felt the need to post about it on Facebook but in the face of the fl or whatever bots in my Facebook feed I was dying to post my 4 figure (yes only 4 ...failure) Google Adsense screencap for the month of December to my Facebook but seriously? Lol!!! People would unfriend me for sure and think I was a smug bitch gone a bit loopy!

clarinsgirl · 03/01/2016 21:41

My NuSkinbot posted the usual 'new year, new you, join my team' bollocks today but interestingly suggested how well this 'business opportunity' would work alongside other mlm 'businesses'. Excellent tactic, target those gullible enough to already be suckered in to another mlm.

BlueThursday · 03/01/2016 21:52

If I had any bots on my FB I'd be really tempted to PayPal myself 1p and do a screenshot with #smashedit 😅

SocksRock · 03/01/2016 21:54

This popped up on my newsfeed...

Am desperate to post and correct the spelling....

Hahahaha BlueThursday

BoGrainger · 03/01/2016 21:59

Yes, to get reffered sounds like something you need to check in the Urban Dictionary....

fastdaytears · 03/01/2016 22:02

I got SO reffered last night. Can hardly see today.
Wonder if FL has anything to make me feel better?

lastuseraccount123 · 03/01/2016 22:14

just added that one to the "Fleecing UK government" post on blog. Thanks Younique! you fuckers

fastdaytears · 03/01/2016 22:24

Ooh is this a new one? I haven't seen it before. Must be MLM though with this "promoter" business. I love that with this I can choose when to join. Well that is very good of them...

Love the Thrive blurb trying to cover all bases - 'if you want to lose a little or a lot of Weight'. Why use one word when you can use five?

LittleMissStubborn · 03/01/2016 22:42

The grammar on that is awful. If you need mental clarity or pain then you need Thrive.

Sign me up, I can always do with more pain, but at least I'll have mental clarity whilst dealing with it.

sminkypink · 03/01/2016 23:19

Thrive sounds dodgy/unethical. Lost my MIL to MS / breast cancer, so this sort of bullshit puts my hackles right up. Grrrrrr.

sminkypink · 03/01/2016 23:27

On the subject of typos. FL is legitimit.

BoGrainger · 03/01/2016 23:42

That last link proves that to make it to the top you have to be able to talk for five minutes without actually anythingShock

sminkypink · 03/01/2016 23:44

The couple who post up these videos - they are on Twitter and are absolutely batshit.

acatcalledjohn · 04/01/2016 00:01

He looked like a total nutcase writing random words on his whiteboard.

I'm still Hmm
