Still continuing the discussion of the various network marketing schemes or multi-level marketing schemes (MLMs) that people we know are involved in.

If you have an MLM bot of your own then join us and share their claims and content.

Or if you are researching a company before signing up to be a network marketer please take a look at the previous threads here and here and also this thread which delves deeper into the workings of MLMs.

And don't forget our very own MN MLM Timeless Vie!

Ah that makes sense cat, thanks!

sminkypink · 31/12/2015 11:24

bettyberry if you look on the Instasham link I posted they have a handy set of photos of feet like that one that you can use on your own social media.

Skibot - i.e. Zoe Stuart - is definitely an FL shill. They've trotted her out for the media few times before, she was interviewed on Radio 4 some years back, has been interviewed in national press (can't find the link) and has appeared in some of their own p.r. campaigns.

If she really is abroad, then you'd be able to tell from her mobile phone ringtone. It sounds different when you're away, doesn't it?

Re. the professional xmas decs, Jayne Leach had this too, the cynic in me wonders if FL sent someone round in a van to do all of the shills houses.

BoGrainger · 31/12/2015 11:28

My bots have gone quiet for a week or two, probably just ramping up the spiel for the new year. Although one mentioned she now had the time to mentor/coach two lucky people. Haven't been following the thread recently so apologies if this has already been covered but is there a crib sheet that they must all follow for FB speak? E.g. I have a full-time job, school run, but earn money by playing with make-up and being on social media for 1 hour a day etc?

sminkypink · 31/12/2015 11:37

Mine has the kitchen piled high with clean 9 boxes, she pays for advertising on Facebook so there are more mugs signing up with her for the Clean 9. They start shitting and puking on January 5th.
Really looking forward to seeing strangers in their undercrackers! Whoop whoop!

yes there must be a crib speak, kind of but one identifying thing with cults is a shared language, from coded stuff, like 'cc' to descriptive terms they use, like 'smashing it' .

bettyberry · 31/12/2015 11:56

sminky, they might just be empty clean 9 boxes photographed for effect ;)

And I didn't realise that link had feet!

sminkypink · 31/12/2015 12:12

heres one of the articles that skibot participated in

It is quite strange what they think is aspirational. Going on holiday at Christmas? Well lots of people do that. Having a professional decorator in? Surely many people enjoy (in a way) getting the decs out and putting them up as a family, it isn't really something that makes me go 'I wish I could afford that'

But then it fits in nicely with the idea of 'stuff'

LittleMissStubborn · 31/12/2015 12:51

I know centre parcs seems to be a destination of choice. I have just looked for pre-christmas next year for 4 and it is less than £700 for the four nights, so not really that expensive in the grand scheme. It just sounds good and many people consider cp to be very expensive (which of course it can if you go top end accommodation)

Willdoitinaminute · 31/12/2015 13:52

Car heist was a true story News story bit hazing re firearms though.

ForeverLivingMyArse · 31/12/2015 15:03

Ski bot has deleted that picture

sminkypink · 31/12/2015 17:13

Yeah I agree Littlemiss' there are not only stock phrases, there are stereotype lifestyle choices in the photos
Big, ugly, expensive, gas guzzling cars (so USA)
Hot tubs
Prosecco
Cappuccinos
Pyjamas
Shot of bot/family inside car with bot pulling 'excited/screamy' face
Screen shot of laptop screen with several bots doing a video conference call all pulling that damn stupid face.
Bots holding cardboard hash tags.
I really, really want to do a protest where we all crash a success day and go in there with cardboard #cult #scam #pyramid etc.

Anyway, the picture deletion: I really think there is no ski holiday or we would've been corrected by ski bot.

FelicityFixIt · 31/12/2015 17:57

Sminky- you forgot slippers! Cosy slippers! In the office! SLIPPERS

penny1ane · 31/12/2015 18:40

I have just realised that 4 years after joining Forever Living, I have one good thing to come from the business.
The start up box has been perfect for my Christmas decorations.
Well and truly worth £199.

Quinoa20 · 31/12/2015 19:08

Sorry for the dented post I inadvertently screen capped something on FB which identified me tooBlush #newbie

I had this in my FB messenger today from someone I haven't seen in at least 3 years (ex colleague) who has been botting all over her own page!!

Hi Xxxxxx,

I hope you don’t mind me contacting you via the Facebook messenger but I really had to share this amazing opportunity with you that is changing my life.

Since being on maternity leave I have started my own business which is going amazingly well. Doing so has meant that I have been able to boost my income whilst on statutory maternity pay, which at this time of year has been a real bonus.

My goal is being able to hand my notice in to my work when my maternity leave ends - for which I am right on track to achieve.

This business has not only given me the financial freedom i’ve longed for, but also the freedom to be able to work from home doing the hours that I want. This has meant that I now have the financial security from my full time job; but that I am also able to be a stay at home mum. This is an opportunity that I did not believe was available to me.

If you’d like to know more, I can send you through a link to look at then we could chat if you’re interested.

Let me know if you’d like to know more…..

Xxxxx

FelicityFixIt · 31/12/2015 19:09

What do you get for £199 Penny?

stopfaffing · 31/12/2015 19:10

Penny, how long did you do fl for? Who introduced you? When did you realise it was not a feasible business model?

rayofhope · 31/12/2015 20:08

quinoa thats the same sort of thing I was trained to write to my prospects. I never felt right saying it. As it wasn't changing my life.

If you look she's not actually telling you what she's achieved and just says she's on track to hand her notice in. It's very non committal.

Have you replied? You should ask her what level she with Forever and actually how much she is earning.

rayofhope · 31/12/2015 20:09

How can she have the financial security from her full time job but is also able to be a stay at home mum. She even says she's on maternity. It' makes no sense

Annie65 · 31/12/2015 20:11
