I'm reading the Forever Living entry on Wikipedia. It says in 2010 the company made 1.7 billion dollars through 9.3 million distributors. I work that out at $182.79 per distributor. That's about £120! Awful! I wonder if that is buying their shite and then not being able to sell any of it on?
I bet you could follow some of the hints and tips on money saving expert and make that in a morning, even if you bunged a few things on ebay, at least you wouldn't have to hawk the overpriced green gunk to your mates.
Suck up those facts FL bots!
My bot has gone quiet, she made a REALLY BIG DEAL of taking the weekend off to spend it with her family.
I took the weekend off, too, but I did not make a big deal, despite being a business owner and #bossbabe (spew) myself (n.b. a proper freelance business that is actually mine). Me and a mate booked a five star hotel in town, for her birthday, yes we drank prosecco went for an expensive meal, neither of us posted a single thing on Facebook, we didn't feel the need to boast. There were no hashtags, no selfies (who the hell wants to ruin a nice meal by taking selfies?), no inspirational bullshit memes were shared.
I am now at my mothers for a week, working on the couch from laptop, again, no need for memes, no need for boasts, no photos of me in my bathrobe (my mother would say, 'why are you not dressed?' ). Got half a dozen friends who do the same freelance job as me (we are freelance designers for trade customers, the big retailers, brands etc), most of us have kids, none of us feel the need to post memes up and boast about it, we may have a whinge about the computer breaking before a deadline. Or an awkward client or a late payer. But we don't ever put on a performance. Why would you do that?
I'm logging off social media for a month tomorrow, I need to work on my portfolio and website and get off Facebook. But I wonder if FL Bot will still be a global business mentor when I'm back?
