Yep.

bunchedpanties · 23/10/2015 11:27

Perfect timing AJF as just been invited to a breast cancer mascara fundraiser. It does get my goat when reputable causes get tarnished with these money making scams.

Earlier in the thread there was reference to the FL2015 policies, could someone linky me please as id like to read those.

Is this what you're after bunched?

Is this a standard website format for Juice Plus bots or have these two taken it to the next level? I can't believe how much they charge for the plans, if people are actually subscribing then they probably are making the sort of money they boast about.

I've skimmed through the company policy and it makes some interesting reading, the devils in the detail as they say. It would be great to hear what someone with legal training thinks of the policies as a whole......
People who have read merchants of deception will find section 18 interesting. The PDF cheeky kindly linked is the Dutch version but I checked the FLP UK website and that links to the Canadian policies which are the same as the Dutch. Are all UK FLbots really signing away their right to a trial by jury?
18 LEGAL
18.01 Dispute Resolution/Waiver of Jury Trial.
(a) If a controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the Distributor relationship or Forever products
cannot be resolved by negotiations, the Company and Distributor agree that in order to promote
to the fullest extent reasonably possible a mutually amicable resolution of the dispute in a timely,
efficient and cost-effective manner, they will waive their respective rights to a trial by jury and settle
their dispute by submitting the dispute to the American Arbitration Association (AAA) for binding
arbitration in Maricopa County, Arizona, in accordance with the written procedures adopted by Forever
for resolution of disputes.

ambler21 · 23/10/2015 14:00

Not sure if the international policy could apply in law here???
The most recent UK specific policy I can find is from 2012

Thanks Cheeky yes that's it. Blimey scary reading, no wonder those that buy the starter pack want to get a couple of others signed up quickly as they don't even qualify for the wholesale price at first!

CheekySmile · 23/10/2015 14:46

I've had that bookmarked for a while but haven't got round to reading it until you reminded me of it today. It is scary reading.
Is 1CC £24ish? Or am I remembering that incorrectly?

A Distributor who has a service-oriented office, barbershop, beauty shop or health club is permitted to display and sell products within their office, shop or club. However, exterior signs or window displays by such Distributors to advertise the sale of Company products are prohibited

Why would this be?

OP posts:
CheekySmile · 23/10/2015 15:09

And the rule that is consistently flouted:
A Distributor is prohibited from making claims as to the therapeutic, safety or curative properties of the products. Only such statements or claims that are officially approved by Forever or are as contained in the official Forever literature may be made or used. A Distributor is prohibited from making any claims that Forever products are useful in the treatment, prevention, diagnosis or cure of any disease. Medical claims regarding Forever products are strictly prohibited. A Distributor should recommend to any customer who is currently under a physician's care or any medical treatment, that they seek the advice of their healthcare provider before altering their nutritional regimen.

OP posts:
CheekySmile · 23/10/2015 15:30

Keep your partner in line...Shock
Couples shall be sponsored together on the same Distributor Application form. Couples cannot sponsor each other. If one spouse chooses not to be a Forever Distributor, the spouse acting as a Forever Distributor expressly agrees and understands that his Distributorship may be terminated for any actions taken by the non-Distributor spouse which would violate Company policies.

I think a cc is around £50.

xenu1 · 23/10/2015 16:44

Ah! The "Married to an Ambot" clause.... :)

marriedtoanambot.blogspot.co.uk/

stopfaffing · 23/10/2015 17:25

I spotted these two clauses on page 25 regarding product claims and earnings claims. Perhaps those mnetters whose bots flout these rules could copy/paste this into their fb feed to remind them of their fl obligations Grin.

(n) Making Product Claims. A Distributor is prohibited from making claims as to the therapeutic, safety
or curative properties of the products. Only such statements or claims that are officially approved
by Forever or are as contained in the official Forever literature may be made or used. A Distributor
is prohibited from making any claims that Forever products are useful in the treatment, prevention,
diagnosis or cure of any disease. Medical claims regarding Forever products are strictly prohibited. A
Distributor should recommend to any customer who is currently under a physician's care or any medical
treatment, that they seek the advice of their healthcare provider before altering their nutritional regimen.
(o) Making Earnings Claims. Unless Forever's prior written approval is obtained, projections of income
earnings and potentially misleading income representations are strictly prohibited. The financial success
of a Distributor depends entirely upon their individual effort, dedication, and the training and
supervision they provide to their Downline and Forever business.

stopfaffing · 23/10/2015 17:29

I wonder how many bots actually read every single clause in this Policy before committing themselves? Not many, I assume, because it is so complicated to try and calculate how much income you are earning. Perhaps it is no wonder that when we ask bots what their income is, they cannot answer.

Myusername2015 · 23/10/2015 17:38

1cc is around £150 Retail cost. I signed up ages ago as I liked the skincare products and wanted them Cheaper. Never sold to anyone else but stay on the team pages as its so much fun!

CheekySmile · 23/10/2015 17:59

£150, really? Gosh, so the requirement for them to buy 1CC per month for personal use is quite a commitment!

OP posts:
Tiredemma · 23/10/2015 19:17

My JP Bot posted a link on FB earlier to a status of a young woman who had a miscarriage at 9 weeks. Then someone 'introduced' her to JP, she got pregnant again and she has just got through her first trimester - which she claims wasnt possible before and she owes it all to JP.

Im actually flabbergasted.

LittleMissStubborn · 23/10/2015 19:23

So the 'want to earn £200-£400 a month' actually doesn't sound that great once you know that.

Myusername2015 · 23/10/2015 20:48

Yeah the expectation is to get to 4cc a month min which is flogging a lot of aloe...when I signed up I got told I had to throw away every item of make up/supplements/skin care etc and replace it all with forever products immediately haha I didn't do so! however you get 2cc immediately for signing up a new recruit hence the promoting frenzy!

Tiredemma · 23/10/2015 20:52

Myuser- is that why they are so keen to recruit people? And then they get CC for every person that their person recruits??

Myusername2015 · 23/10/2015 21:17

Yes tiredemma; you get the 2 cc's and then a percentage of all sales made by everyone you recruit and also everyone they then recruit..... Hence the random Facebook messages "been thinking about you...you'd be great for this business!"

Tiredemma · 23/10/2015 21:30

the coffee invites? (had LOADS) of those.
