Apologies for the silence. Got some home improvements happening and as such I have little time to spare...

The cheque posted upthread looks like it's for $84. The cents are visible, so logically the next one is whole dollars, followed by 8 'tens'. Her finger isn't quite covering the 'XXXXX' that tell us there are no 'hundreds'.

Stupid cow.

In other news: My FL not posted something about a charity night with FL products, Christmas gift ideas, and a charity raffle wth FL prods for prizes. With nibbles so 'should be fun'.

She posted, shared twice, and got a whopping 2 likes and 2 comments.

"Such fun!"

mobiusgeek · 19/10/2015 09:12

Twunk Mulberry must be shitting themselves..

There's so many constant contradictions with these schemes. One minute it's saying how easy it is to fit around your life, the next is that they are so tired they have to be carried to bed (that was cooper's own words). They all seem to think that in 3-5 years time they will be able to retire though and take LIFETIME monthly payments from fl which they can also pass to their children Grin

Because that would be profitable for fl. Funny how Natalie heeley has been at this for 10 years+

Hmm
PopcornFrenzy · 19/10/2015 09:50

Well my bot has come back from the managers summit absolutely buzzing and is posting even more on FB. This was one of the slides she's posted, scary stuff

It's just more brainwashing to keep them in line isn't it?! Nobody's liking your FB page? Don't worry, keep at it you are still changing lives. Load of crap. The only likes my bots get are from other bots. Nobody's life is being changed, not for good anyway.

The more I read Merchants of Deception, the more I see that FL is just a direct copy. It's truly frightening what these people go through in the pursuit of the big money which must be 'just round the corner', and the mind control that the leaders instil. It's very cleverly done, so powerful. When I read the FLbots Fb pages that I'm following sometime I think that I must be missing something, that what they're doing works, and they're getting an income that I'm missing out on. And then I give myself a good smack round the head. You can see how people of the right vulnerability get sucked in and can't get out before the big damage is done.

If you remember my newest bot, the one I gave my full opinion of FL to last month, who I have only seen a handful of times since we left school 20 years ago? Well I bumped into her at the supermarket yesterday. Talk about awkward...

cheekysmile yep, you just summed up my exact thoughts too. I sometimes find it hard to believe that they could just bare-faced lie about money and (moreso) tangible materialistic things. Stuff like posting pics of themselves in car showrooms/swanning about in castles etc. is extremely shameless. All modesty had been stripped away. They must TRULY believe in this somehow.

How can they truly believe that this is what Fl/youneeeeek/nuskin/arbonne whatever will shower them with for simply flogging some rubbishy overpriced tat?!

Brainwashing, or perhaps 'Neuro Linguistic Programming' for evil.

I cringe for them being set up for such a fall which mathematically HAS to happen at some point whether that be 12 months or 12 years+ down the line (dependant on how much time and money they can plow in before being financially forced to stop)

I'm glad i read MoD, and most of eye's findings otherwise I would have also been at risk of doubting myself too. Beggars belief really.

Annie65 · 19/10/2015 12:41

Cheeky, when you have read Merchants of Deception it does make you see these Mlms in a totally different life doesn't it? You can see the deception clearly, even the way the bots talk, the way they see anyone who even asks a question about the "business" as being negative. You can see the higher they go the more they have to work. When I first started to look at fl, I was under the impression once they reached Manager, they had it easy, raking loads of money from the poor down-liners, but it seems, like the book that is not the case. Once they quit their jobs and sell their houses, and buy, I mean rent a castle like the Coopers, it seems as though they are trapped. They would never admit that though, even to themselves. Very scarey stuff.Sad

ForeverLivingMyArse · 19/10/2015 12:54

You can see, through reading MoD how social media has taken the MLM to the next level. There's a part in the book where someone in his upline recommends playing a round of golf one morning, then ensuring he tells as many people as possible to create the impression he's lounging about on the golf course daily. In reity he was out until 3am, chasing leads and working his 9 to 5 at the same time.

Now, with social media, we see this 100x magnified.

Also, the 'replace every product' mentality.

It's scary stuff.

PopcornFrenzy · 19/10/2015 13:32

My bot has been asked if FL is a scam, I didn't put her whole post as it has some pretty personal details in but this is the end bit

mobiusgeek · 19/10/2015 14:20

groan

feels like we're fighting a losing battle. That manager's summit 'like' slide is the best. More often than not, I see that the bots even 'like' their own posts! Grin At best, they might get a few more 'likes' from other bots and the odd sympathy 'like' from their mam or whatever.

Clearly the definition of success.

AJFsmummy · 19/10/2015 14:36

"Been away to managers summit this weekend and I have been wanting to say this to you for a full year now so here it goes and please just humour me. Would you take a look at the business opportunity I do? Just to see if it's something you could run alongside your business, it practically goes hand in hand cause you end up talking and networking with people and that will open up doors and custom for your business. Absolutely fine if you check it out then say no not for me, I just know you would be insanely good, make insane money and it's so flexible I feel like I'm lazy now and don't really work it's mental.
Been thinking about it all weekend."

I've just been sent that. The best way to insult a really business owner and company director.

Pfffttttttt......

AJF that's hideous.

LittleMissStubborn · 19/10/2015 16:56

I am glad it isn't just me that wonders if there is something they are missing, so it is no surprise people get sucked in.

The selling of a house is quite worrying as it gives more ready money. I have got a lot of equity in my house (purely circumstantial, half way through a mortgage and buying just before the boom)

LittleMissStubborn · 19/10/2015 16:58

Sorry..... And I can see that would make me vulnerable, both in terms of what money I have plus once in it is harder to pull back out.

Obviously I am not about to sell my house, but it is a vulnerability once someone is in

PopcornFrenzy · 19/10/2015 18:05

I keep wondering about the Coopers, if they sell their house and get kicked out of 'their' castle what are they going to do? Is it blind faith or what?!

PopcornFrenzy · 19/10/2015 20:33

Is no one safe from FL Hmm

ForeverLivingMyArse · 19/10/2015 21:44

It's sad to watch. One of my bots is an old friend from school who was quite an anxious and private person.

Today we've been blessed with pictures of her in her knickers and crop top. She's about a size 14, usual mumtum after 3 kids (one set of twins) It's not a body to be ashamed of by any means but she's never exposed, wears loose stuff, no posing pics or bikinis on the beach, or even selfies. Yet, there she is in her knickers on a public page sucking her tummy in declaring it's all thanks to c9.

AJFsmummy · 19/10/2015 22:20

Omfg.....giving it to animals too?!

My FLbot has just been into my work and the recruitment process has started with lovebombing and flattery. So awkward.

Chrysanthemum5 · 20/10/2015 16:26

I saw someone yesterday wearing a sweatshirt that said something like - ask me about my amazing eyelashes - on the back and proudly proclaimed 'Younique' on the front. I thought of you all.

AJFsmummy · 20/10/2015 16:59

I've been approached by a bot on LinkedIn. Yep LinkedIn.

lastuseraccount123 · 20/10/2015 17:29
