Hey girls thought I'd start a part 4 before part 3 reaches the limit. Anyone having received a letter from concentric or hrmc telling you they have evidence of you living with another adult please join us with your experiences, comments or support.

12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 11:08

These are the letters I sent off to them to prove my working hours one letter from 2013 and the other is a letter dated the 5th of this month confirming the same hours as in the 2013 letter do you think these along with my contract, p 60 & payslips is enough.
Both letters are on headed paper the 2013 one is signed by headteacher & the one done at the beginning of this month is signed by the bursar

I know my son is going to France with school for the day and I am scared to get euros for his spending money but got to do it or won't be fair on him. He also finish school a week before his brother and me so is going on holiday with my mum he needs some new clothes only going to cost £20 because he don't need much and don't know if I should go ahead and buy them or wait and see if this is finished with before then.
Also got a holiday in august this is so hard!

12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 11:14

Baby I always worry about everything I am just one of those people who worry.
But this is pushing to a limit I have never felt before!

babyalan13 · 28/06/2015 12:27

Your letters seem fine. Mine was also on headed paper. All she wrote was my hours. For the past years. And saying I on maternity till may 14. But always contracted to 30 hours. If they were really concerned they would have to ring employer. Am worried cause I have 4 children so my tax credits payment every Wednesday is quite high! My husband always thinks I get to much! But I don't no what the standard amount is! I get £262 a week. That's child and working tax. 4 children and I work 30 hours. My husband doesn't work. Do you think that amount sounds normal?

12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 12:35

If you have used the tax credit calculator on their site or entitled to then they tell you how much you are entitled based on your circumstances if that matches what you are currently getting then you are fine.
I have done both and they are spot on for what I get.

Do you think it matters that letter I got to confirm my hours doesn't have dates on it I thought it was fine as I have sent the 2013 contract letter which shows my hours then and now both match.

12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 12:37

Did you sent your contract or just the letter?

babyalan13 · 28/06/2015 12:50

Nah as long as you have contract. Yes I sent mine but it was a copy. Letter and contract should be all they need. I did calculator it says I should be getting 292 a week so bit confused

12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 12:56

Maybe they owe you money then you did say your income was less due to maternity or did you get any one off payments before you got you renewal in the post or after you phoned to renew as sometimes that causes and extra payment and if that happens they reduce you payments for the rest of year so you don't get over paid.

I sent my original contract from 2011 when I was only working 16 hours, as well as sending the letters above as I said the 2013 is varying the hours of my original contract.

babyalan13 · 28/06/2015 12:59

I hope so!! Had nothing yet! My contract was dated 2012, that's when I started.my payslips didn't state hours. Maybe you should ring tomarrow. Cause you will be thinking about it all day

12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 13:01

My payslips don't have hours on it either! I phoned yesterday and still wasn't anything on there! Efergie said she will be phoning in the morning to see where they are upto and will post an update, her documents were signed for on the same day as mine

smokie19 · 28/06/2015 14:19

i recieve 264 a wk for two kids but as disability too up on there as get high rate dla

12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 14:36

I don't think baby needs to worry about how much she gets!

12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 14:46

How many of us are having employment/hours checks?

What did you send? Do you think letters I sent are ok?
I personally think they are as the letter dated 5th of June confirms my 2013 letter. I'm just starting to worry about everything now, really worried about getting my documents back!

babyalan13 · 28/06/2015 14:50

Thanks smokie feel bit better now. Maybe I should be getting a wee bit more then. Has my husband doesn't claim any benefits. So think my working tax should go up a bit. As there is 4 young children. And I only earn 10,000 a year

Morgan97 · 28/06/2015 15:27

Hey girls, well I've tried to take my own advice n not stress but it hasn't worked. So here I am reading through your posts n see that most of you are the same as me. The stress won't go away just because its Sunday! Fingers crossed you will all get some good news soon. One thing I have decided to do is NOT ring them anymore ill just stress quietly on my own until I know my fight will have to continue. I've convinced myself that nothing will change so am desperately searching for something that's positive.

Letters from employers should be fine.

I have sent a letter, 13 months payslips and p60.

There is physically nothing else we can send them ,an employers letter should be enough on its own.

12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 15:41

Hi Jonny

I have also sent 13 payslips and p60

I was just a bit worried that I should have got dates put in the letter I had done for them but then I have the letter showing I started working those hours in 2013 and a letter showing I am still working this hours in 2015 so should be obvious that I have been working those hours the whole time between those dates and also my pay hasn't gone down in that time I fact gone up a bit due to a slight pay increase!

Thank you Jonny just nice to have someone else's opinion on it I did think it was ok but think at the moment need some reassurance on everything!

12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 15:43

Hi Morgan,

Unfortunately I haven't been able to switch off from all this if anything feeling even more stressed!
Didn't think that was even possible, probably because it's weekend and not at work so have too much time to over think everything!

Morgan97 · 28/06/2015 15:58

Yes 12fedup I have the same problem too much time on my hands so thinking at 10000 mph lol. This has taken over my life it's horrible isn't it.

12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 16:00

It really is I have never felt like this in my life!

Louby76 · 28/06/2015 16:22

I don't think any of us will settle until we have it in black & white regardless of what they tell anyone over the phone. That's why I haven't rang.

12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 16:32

No we won't louby, I would feel less worried though if I knew where my documents were and could get some realistic information from them!

Morgan97 · 28/06/2015 17:22

This is the thing,it's the not knowing anything that's the problem. They can't or won't tell us hat we need to know. They're quick enough to make their demands on us and give us deadlines but when it comes down to it we are left in the dark,it's not fair to do this.

OP posts:
12fedup12 · 28/06/2015 17:26

My thoughts exactly those letter are sent telling us we must reply or payments will be stopped, I got everything back to them 4 weeks before the deadline date in the hope that by getting everything back nice and quick it would be dealt with promptly, come Friday they have had my documents for 4 weeks and haven't even bother to scan it on let alone do anything else with it, meanwhile we all left in limbo!!!!
