Surely they can't just stop payments like that ! They have to prove you are guilty first . What gets me is that even if they do think you are living with somebody , you still can get tax credits in some cases and they have to have information /details of the so called "partner " . Who's details do you give if you haven't got a name in the first place lol . It doesn't add up .
It's so wrong As how on earth can sending in statements prove who you live with . Even people who are married can have separate bank accounts . I received my documents back a week ago saying they would be in touch. Obviously haven't heard anything back yet . Not sure if I should call them .

Redbone3 · 25/02/2015 08:40

Hi I recived same letter too, I have sent everything they asked for ... I have nothing to hide beside a x my daughters father bullying me . I feel stressed out and sick with worry if the outcome, u work and do everything I need to do for my 3 children . I'm single and claiming single Benifits . My daughters father does come round to see her as I feel more safer him coming to mine as he has claimed he will take her back to the states with him when he leaves, he pays nothing for her or gives me money . Infact his a leecher no money no job , lives off others .. Does anyone know how long the out come of all this takes ?? I thought they were just writing to me but it seems from others we were all sent same letter around the same time .. Like a lot of you it worries you and stresses you out and make you feel like your in the wrong Sad has anyone how a letter back yet if so how long did it take ??

pepsi123 · 25/02/2015 10:02

Hi I had this worry for a month to.i eventually rang them because couldn't bear another weekend of worry.Day after I rang them the letter came.Evan if you get a good result the worry and trauma stay with you I'm dreading renewing my claim this year!!!!im always thinking I'm being watched and my anxiety levels are through the roof.I would advise people to ring them if you havnt heard back a week after you have got your documents back because their letters take forever to arrive and I have to say everybody I spoke to on the phone were very nice.nicer in fact than most of the people who answer the phones for hmrc!!!! Good luck everyone xx

Morgan97 · 25/02/2015 12:04

Katy69, I've had the same letter but mine was from HRMC,I rang them up and told them my situation, all I have is receipts for what I pay each month, when I asked what was the point in sending bank statements as no payments go out,I draw the cash out and pay my way by cash, they told me not to send bank statements!! I sent receipts but also went to the bank and got copies of bank statements,I haven't sent them off yet though so we will see what they say. I put a covering letter in explaining my circumstances and told them who I spoke to,will point out that when I asked for the guys name he was a bit reluctant to give his name pointing out that all calls were recorded but got his name and reference number when I pushed for it. These people are bullies how can they justify not replying until after ten working days when they actually receive your reply the next day makes me cross am on a mission to get someone with a bit of power on our side, still not holding my breath though.

ccbb1 · 25/02/2015 13:09

Morgan .I will give them few more days as from sound of it they have a very large back log .i in the meantime have emailed my local member of parliament and waiting to hear back .

Morgan97 · 25/02/2015 13:42

I'm going to try and wait till next Thursday ccbb1,I've emailed my local mp too and various newspapers, bbc news my local news and this morning,no replies yet not even a standard one. Maybe a protest outside Downing Street might get people of their backsides.

ccbb1 · 25/02/2015 15:07

Had call on behalf of my member of parliament he going to make enquiries on my behalf

Morgan97 · 25/02/2015 15:22

That's good new ccbb1 let's hope it makes a difference,I've had no replies from anyone yet ggggrrrrrrr

Morgan97 · 25/02/2015 15:51

Hi redbone3
The letters seem to be saying we should hear something within ten working days but reading through most of the post on here it takes a bit longer, some of the ladies on here have had their things sent back to them with letter stating they will receive a decision at a later date,,it seems to vary a bit. Yes we all seem to be doing the right thing by our children and being shot down in flames for doing it. So unfair the stress this is causing is unbelievable.as I've said in previous posts my letter came from tax credits not Concentrix but the contents were the same.

Redbone3 · 25/02/2015 16:39

Hi morgan97
Just very unfair and stressful seems we're all doing the right thing and getting harassed for it but people who are not get away with stuff .. I find myself looking out the windows and telling my children's dad not to come round to visit them incase there watching and getting the wrong idea thinking he lives there when he does'nt .. So my daughter is missing out cause I do'nt treat him to take her else where as his threaten to take her from me back to the states ... Like others just wish would hurry up and get over with .. I'm trying to get hold of my mp but that prob wo'nt help much

Morgan97 · 25/02/2015 16:56

Redbone3 I'm exactly the same, looking over my shoulder and feeling guilty when I've done nothing wrong,my situation is slightly different I live in a house with another adult who isn't my partner he's a friend who took me in when I was down on my luck,we live very separate lives, separate food cupboards, shelves in the fridge,do our own washing etc,I had a similar letter two years ago and went through exactly the same thing,I rang tax credits explained the situation send in receipts showing what I paid each month, they sent my receipts back and heard nothing until 9th feb this year so rang again sent my receipts back and heard nothing. It's stressful and worrying and I think most of us on here has put their lives on hold. I've sent emails to loads of people still nothing back.

ccbb1 · 25/02/2015 17:18

Update .had email back he phoned tax credits up to now I am still getting what due for next week but no record of them receiving my documents which where signed for on second February now really worried about that one .

ccbb1 · 25/02/2015 17:26

Update .he has spoken to tax credits and as yet I have not had them suspended so they will go in next week .bad news though no record on system as yet of my documents being received they were signed for on second February that's a long time .now I am very worried .

Morgan97 · 25/02/2015 17:33

That's disgusting ccbb1,if your documents were signed for then they've received them no excuse. Who rang them,if you didn't ring them give them a call tomorrow and to speak to a supervisor can't understand them saying they haven't received them but they've been signed for complete madness, thinking of you big hugs

ccbb1 · 25/02/2015 18:27

The person who rang them works with my member of parliament he used the member of parliament hot line .I have emailed him back to let him know when they were signed for but as yet not heard back.reluctant to ring myself because I seem to be very unlucky and I get all the nasty people on other end of phone and I hopeless at standing up for myself .I really good when it's for other people just not good for me lol

Morgan97 · 25/02/2015 20:26

ccbb1 I get really flustered when I'm on the phone,I usually write down everything I want to say in the order I want to say it and then muddle through the best I can, at the end of the day it's people like us that pay their wages without us they wouldn't have a job. Really hope you get somewhere with this tomorrow, you could always pretend you're ringing for someone else (in your head of course)

It's been twenty three days though since they signed for do you think that they would take that long

Sylvia02 · 25/02/2015 22:36

Be prepared for the long wait. 5 weeks before I got my documents back & still waiting for their decision & it's been 2 weeks. I'm still getting my payments tho so I don't know what's taking them so long. I'm getting fed up now

Morgan97 · 25/02/2015 22:43

Blimey I'm going to be a nervous wreck by the time I hear anything,I've resent all the emails I sent a few days ago they will get so fed up with me they will reply just to get rid of me

Sylvia02 · 25/02/2015 22:55

I am a nervous wreck although I know I've not done anything wrong. They make you feel like you have. Ive still not got round to calling them, I'm gonna check to see if I get a payment this week then call them.

Katy69 · 26/02/2015 07:42

Morgan97 you said you resent emails , do you have an email address for concentrix ?

Morgan97 · 26/02/2015 08:20

Katy69 no I don't have an email for them,I've been emailing bbc news my local news this morning etc trying to get some support. As said in previous posts my letter came from tax credits directly but the wording on my letter is the same as letters from concentrix. I'll have a look today and see if there is an email for them but I doubt it

xclking93 · 26/02/2015 12:20

I received the same letter at the beginning of the week. My partner does not live with me. He stays 2 nights a week maximum. He does however have post which comes to this address as his parents open all his post while he works so he has no privacy.. & he pays my sky bill as I can't afford it! When I moved into my property I had no aerial and was told sky is the easiest thing to get, I've tried to change the details on the account but they won't let me.. I've heard people get called into meetings and all benefits are stopped over this. Is that true? I've sent off all info they asked for proving I'm financially independent but I've read some horror stories & I'm quite worried.

Redbone3 · 26/02/2015 13:21

Today I recived my paper work back with all the info they asked I sent off on 9th feb had to be in by the 11th with a letter claimung they will get back to me with a answear ... Today I also recived a letter saying they have reviewed my case and will not amend my award but this is up to April this year ... Does this mean after April I will have to do this all again ???
