A letter from Concentrix oh behalf of HM REVENUE

Hello please help if you can , I am worried sick , I got a letter from the above , the letter states We need to talk to you about whether you are living with a partner , I claim tax credit as a single person , they are saying that they have evidence that there may be another ault living with me , I do have a bf whom stays 3 days a week , they wish me to call , and are asking in the letter for Bills, tent from 06 April 2014 to Jan 2015 , scared they are going to horrible on the phone not sure what to make if it , feel sick , any tips or help would be great thank you

Salfords a bit too far for me but I'll find her email address and email her see if there's anyone nearer to me,still heard nothing and its taking over my life which makes me mad at myself if that makes any sense

Ooooooops itsgoingtoreindeer, maybe I should email the mp for my area,I'm on a mission now I'm angry with the way I have been made to feel and although I've heard nothing yet I don't want to let this drop,even after we have all got our replies weather it's good or bad news we have to stand up for ourselves,it's so bloody unfair there's loads of us on here who have had similar letters god knows how many who haven't joined this forum,being angry spurns me on

If you put her email address on here we can all email .i certainly will .can you also keep us updated with what she saying to you .and in meantime I will also email my local mp too

If enough of us do this and pester the life out of people that could make a difference we just might get somewhere ??

I do wish that I'd blacked out my account number on my bank statements,but it just threw me into a panic and I wanted it over as quick as possible so sent everything off the same day I received the letter. I have been told that I have been found innocent and they have sent my documents back,except they have left out one set of bank statements.I rang them and they promised to ring back to tell me what had happened to them.This was on 13/2/2015 and I haven't heard anything since. I am now checking my bank account daily for unauthorised activity and considering moving my account but am reluctant to as the bank is convenient and I have had the account for over 30 years.Not happy as the worry is continuing due to their carelessness.

That's great Itsgoingtoreindeer thank you for that,still no reply from the powers that be,I'm still trawling through pages of people who might be able to help

Maybe we should all stand outside hrmc or downing street with placards .we could invite our imaginary partners to join us too .although from what concentrix said to me I will have to choose which one to take .have to wait until they give me some names first though .

Hi everyone, that's my request that's been reposted here. If you don't mind getting in touch, I'm aiming to get some advice from an expert on what to do about the letters.

Ha ha ccbb1 I wonder what they would make of us standing outside Downing Street maybe that's what we should be thinking of doing,yes a bit extreme I know but something needs to be done. I'm now getting edgy when I see the postman and then feel worse when he walks straight past without delivering anything. As I've said in a previous post no matter what the outcome be it good or bad something needs to be done I'm so thankful for finding this thread.

Morgan .I feel like my life on hold and I too wait for post man but with knots in my stomach .its been a month now and still waiting to hear something .

Well ccbb1 I know exactly what you're going through doesn't make it any easier though does it,it's been 9 days for me so god only knows what ill be like after a month,I want to ring them but don't want to if that makes sense. I'm so tired I can't sleep properly my life seems on hold its horrible isn't it. You could be right maybe extreme action is called for

I got my documents back after 5 weeks with a letter saying they'll be in touch soon, still waiting & it's been another 2 weeks. I think I'm going to call them tomorrow.

Looks like I be waiting another month my tax credits due next week will i even get them ,?

ccbb1 have your tax credits been stopped? Sylvia02 I think a few of the ladies on here have rang to find out what's happening,good luck and let us know how you get on.

my payments haven't stopped. I don't understand why they can't tell us with the letter we received with our documents!! They must be passed on to another dept.

Why don't you give them a ring ccbb1 I think you have waited a bit longer than me,my ten days will be up tomorrow but I'm not sure how long to wait till I ring them,like you I'm going to dread checking my bank and finding out they've stopped my payment,I've read a few posts on here that said people's payments were stopped just like that,a very worrying time.
