hi i would like to introduce myself im Janet and have a partener and a little girl Nina aged 9yrs i would like some advice and help as we are new to this tax credits
we earn a joint income of 16000 per year
if we were to get tax credits would any one be able to tell us how much we could get as we used to get joint child/tax credits of 118.34 per week
now they have reduced them by 53.20 to 65.34 im at a loss of understanding these figures and why they have dropped so much and our income is vertually the same ? this whipes out one of our wages (no wonder some people dont want to work !!!
any help would be great thanks
