Back from a fantastic holiday. just read a brilliant book that I really should have put on the list for you all. Its weird isnt it, that we all want to please each other and be liked by each other now that we are buddies!!!

Another baby on the way!! WOW hope its not catching on this thread!! CONGRATS!!

Also just finished reading "Small Island" I know someone else was taking it on holiday. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Loads to think about in there and all written with a real sense of humour. Made me feel guilty to be British, though.

Hope everyone's books arrive soon. (and hope you can lovesomesleep soon too!!)

HC if you haven't sent me the book yet (I think you are sending to me), don't worry about it for another week.
We're going away on holiday on Sat for a week. You'll be up to your eyes at the moment anyway.

Jason - Got the book this morning. My bday on Sun thought it was a present - openned it and was surprised that it was better than a present!

found myself a couch 2 5k thread so can bore them with the running talk. Have down loaded a couple of the suz's podcasts but hip hop not my taste so giving this week a miss!

Try these ones instead?

None of the music on the podcasts would be my taste but they are actually great to break up the running time so you feel the time go quickly with actual songs rather than muzak!

Suz has a great Michael Jackson one which was the first I downloaded and was really cool!

I think we decided to do the book reviews on FB, just so that its easy to find where to write stuff. I will open up a discussion page per book, probably tomorrow, then you can read if you want to, or avoid until you've read the book, if you like surprises!!!!

Hope everyone is ok. I am assuming that the quietness on here is due to holidays and end of term madness!! I am sure we will all communicate more after the hols.

Hello lovely ladies am back from my hols (have name changed again) but tis I "Jason".

Have just got my book and really want to read it as the synopsis sounds great, but have come back to masses of work too so won't have too much reading time. I think I'm going to post on late - is it OK if I'm a week late?

Hi Jason, hope you had a good holiday. sorry you didn't get the book before you left, I can't believe it took more than 5 days to get to you.

I am going to post the next one onto you on Monday, no pressure but then you have it just in case you manage to get some time.

HC1- Sorry I've just remembered that I haven't posted the book - going away and will be back on 2nd so will post first class when I get back - you should get by 3rd.

Jason(or whatever!!) - very good read - hope I have time to review tonight once I've finished packing - who's stupid idea was it to go away, house is a tip, discovered all the clothes need washing and dh done a bunk to work!

Want to let you all know that i have made an executive decision!!!! Lovebeing... has not been able to post to me at all this month, following some sad family news. So, I am going to add another book into the cycle and Major is going to post direct to me, leaving Lovebeing out for a while until she feels up to jumping back in. Hope you all agree with this plan. I have been in contact with Lovebeing, but havent recently had replies, so I hope she is not upset by this.

JJ I love you! Book arrived safely and chocolate stashed out of reach of DC's - they're now telling each other it's not fair, mummy's got English chocolate and we haven't . You know what, I'm not even going to share.

Great, glad to hear this one arrived safely and quickly.

That was my last bar of English chocolate but seeing as I'm going there tomorrow I reckoned I could stock up again.

It's WAY too small to share!!!
