I am back !!!!

Not quite back to normal and no work until at least January, but I am well enough to MN now.

I will have to get DH to post as I am not up to going into town so a short delay, Sorry!!

Right, I have been thinking about what happens now. I do believe that the December book is the last one of this circuit. I would like to propose a plan, but will not be at all offended if anyone wants to object!!!!

I think it has worked OK this time round. I kinow we have had a couple of "drop-outs", but we have managed to keep it more or less on track. So, are you up for keeping going? I would suggest that we relax a little over the manic Christmas period, then re-group in January. How do you feel about opening it up again to other MNers? We would set out the rules before they "signed up" so to speak. Then aim for a February as the first month for the next circuit.

I don't mind co-ordinating again, but if anyone wants to take over, that's fine. Whoever is going to co-ordinate needs to be the person who starts the new thread, now that we have the OP's posts highlighted it will just make things a little easier, I think.

So, thoughts please!!!!.......

Oh how lovely that you're back to your normal bossy self, you had us all a bit worried for a while back there . It just hasn't felt right without you snapping at our heels, but I think we've all managed to keep going in the true spirit of PA. I feel all warm inside because I know you're definitely on the mend now.

I'm happy to go again, in fact I've quite enjoyed myself this time JJ I would be grateful if you could send me your book again because I never got round to reading this at the start of this run.

I think if we allow new people they really need to know and stick to the rules.

I'm all up for going again.

Well it is good to hear PA you sounding like your old self. I would be keen to do another round and happy to open up to others as longs as they agree to commit to it. Also am very happy PA for you to keep organising us - it seems to have worked well.

AAgree about easing off over Christmas my lists are getting ever longer!

I know life has been really tough for you recently. I hope you are beginning to feel slightly human again and that people are looking after you. Don't expect too much of yourself. I am sure Christmas is going to be difficult for your family.

We are decamping back home tomorrow, so think it's going to allhit me in the next few days. Got my scan on Thursday and no idea who will be coming with me but life has to get back to 'normal' I guess.

Thanks PA for getting everyone organised.

I am woefully behind on books, which is probably what is holding up the swap.

I still have 2.5 more to read - nearly finished one (so the 0.5) and then two left on my shelf waiting.

I think with the various drop-outs/hold ups I had a blank period and then 4 or 5 books at once!

Will be ready to send on a book in a few days, then 2 more to go.

Shall we hold off a little longer before a new round (maybe new Christmas books coming too?) and then start in February as PA suggests?

Glad to see LB... and PA back on form.

How are you - still fragile?

I would love to be fragile, that word always conjures up visions of beautiful bone china. Unfortunately I am more like a crock pot with dodgy cracks!

I am getting better, but so much slower than I thought. I had anticipated being absolutely fine after one week and then enjoying a bit of lady of leisure life!! HUMPH!!! One month later and all I can do is function for about 30 minutes before I am shaking like a leaf and in need of a lie down. Off work now until the new year, but seriously behind on my non-existent Christmas schedule!!
At least the DCs are old enough to understand that Christmas is going to be on a much smaller scale this year and if they don't tell me what they want, they could seriously end up with nothing to open on Christmas morning.

HC - there's no book for you this month - will send on the one I just got when I finish it - looks go so don't think it will take long.

I'm in for another round of swaps - 1st Feb sounds like good time to get going - gives me a chance to find a new book to send on. I don't mind new people coming in but I think we should be very bossy/set rules very early and let them know they will be hunted down if they run off with our books!

PA - hope you've managed most of your shopping on line (how did we cope with out that?) and that those dc are taking care of you!

PA - I've posted to you today, although who knows when you'll actually get it. Hopefully it will arrive before too long (unlike my order from ELC!)

It would be good if we could start a new swap in Feb - give everyone a chance to get over Christmas and New Year. I had very good intentions of sending you all cards; but I haven't started writing them yet, so you'll have to make do with my best wishes to you all on here1 Sorry!
