Book Circle Thingamy! Take 2

So - we're going to start again from Jan 1st!

If you were on the first and want to continue, then add your name to the list.

If you are NEW person wanting to join the circle, then please post on the thread and when we work out how many spaces there are we will add in as many as poss to make the number to twelve.

I think Korma was part of the original delay. She had a whole load of crap go on in life (no idea what), so I don't know if she had a load of books that never got rehomed...

I have two books to post on, so as soon as we are out of flu watch - all the men in the house are unwell. I am a healthy and super woman (my new mantra) I will get right on to it!!!

I'm the same Trilian. In fact I've had just one book since we started, so this really hasn't worked for me this year.

If you want your wild card book back, let me know.

If you fancy something new, I've got a few I can forward, but that doesn't really make the circle work. What can we do next??

I'd like to try again!! I suggest we start sooner though rather than waiting until Jan. Maybe try to get organised to send out 1 Oct?

Oh, and random thought - why do we keep having 12 people??? Surely we just go with the people we already have, who have posted on in the past, and start the new circles earlier than once a year?

Oh, the boot season has been fabulous this year for books! I have a bookshelf overflowing, floor to ceiling, after too many 20p bargains

Well actually the one I sent round the circle in the beginning I wouldn't mind back at some point, if the circle ever, y'know, circles, but it doesn't seem very likely!

Hello all- have just wandered back onto this thread to say that I finally got a book and it's all gone belly up!

I'd love to stay involved- I got 6 books and they made my day each time I have to say x

Good point re 12 - it is too many really, too much scope for ballsing up (tho other circles manage, gah). Will track down Flossie, she's v reliable at posting on books.

I think personal difficulties are not an excuse for not posting (v harsh but true, I really think so), some people on this thread have experienced some truly truly devastating and difficult times but still found the time and the will to keep on with the book swap.
