Who is up for another round? I feel I should offer to organise this time, given arti and AP have done more than their fair share already...

Looks like it would be at least Arti, Aristo and me. Any more for any more?

I'll post your book tomorrow, SLF - not sure where April disappeared to! I'll need to think about the next round. I've increased my hours to FT, and it's seriously eating into my reading time!

I think we have one more book of this round to go. I've not had SLF's original book.

That's ok - it's the last book so I won't need to send it back to SLF so promptly.

I've been a bit lax at writing on the individual book threads lately, but I have a clear favourite in mind (although still one book to go).

Hi all - I too am up for another round although have had a bit of a challenge getting books this time round. I haven't had a book in ages so have had nothing to send to you aristo

Could I suggest that the posting order is mixed around for the next round - if only so different people have to put up with me posting late and for the limited chocolate choices I tend to send Smile

Has everyone got their last book now?
I'm going to sit the next round out - I'm working FT now, and my weekends are increasingly busy, so I don't have time to A) get to the inconvenient sorting office and B) read!

I'm happy to pass the spreadsheet with the addresses and all-important chocolate details to SLF if enough people want to continue to make it worthwhile. And, yes, Dysgu - shuffling the order is a good idea. I don't know where your books have disappeared to this round.

Lola I do not have the book for May to send back to you in June. Perhaps we should all comment on whose books we have and see if anyone does have it?

Sorry you've not had my book yet Aristo, a shame as I think its a good one Smile. That said, there is no rush to return it (although I would like it back at some point) so hopefully you will still get to read it if it does turn up.

AP - I've read your book and loved it thank you. Hope you don't mind but I've lent it to my dad (we often swap books and he is v local) as I knew there was no rush to send it on. Will post it back as soon as he's done.

Hello! I have finished itsjusta's book now, so I think when I post that one on to arti that is this round finished?

I have The Spreadsheet from AP, so can sort out a next round if that's still wanted? So far I think the following would like to:

Lola
Dysgu
Itsjusta
Me!

Any more for any more? TBH I'd be quite happy with a "short" round because it looks like we'll be in Germany again next year. Rather than risk books getting lost etc which I know is really annoying for everyone, I'd bow out for a bit then.

Let me know (a) if you want to stay in and (b) what the initials of your new book will be. Also if you have any new chocolate preferences! If by the end of next week we have the definitive list of people I can get the new addressees circulated and we'll be ready to start again 1 July :)

cool :) I need to think too, or rather remember. I always seem to have wonderful ideas mid round, which I completely forget at the vital moment. And these days, I think "what was that good book I read a bit ago?" and then realise it was one of the books I've read in the book swap :)

I have just sent you a PM SLF with my book choice and chocolate preferences - may have sent it twice but better than not at all, eh!

Hope everyone has had some lovely weather to enjoy today - we are getting quite used to eating our meals outside on the deck so I hope this lovely weather continues. It was still 20 degrees here at gone 7pm this evening!

Hello, life mad busy here and very little time for reading but I'm still in (but if anyone chooses an 800 page blockbuster usually me then it will take me six months to read it!)

hello everyone! I have just fired off emails to you about who you are sending to this round, so do have a look in your spam if it's not in your inbox as I might be skulking there. The email has "mice and maltesers" as the subject so will hopefully be easy to find.

I've tried to rearrange the sending order as best I can...

Let me know if there are any ishoos... otherwise get wrapping those books and chocolates up ready for the 1 July posting. Not so far away now (rather scarily!)
