Waiting to miscarry- what do I do with myself?

Should be around 11.5 weeks but had a scan this week and only measuring under 8.
I’ve got a hospital appointment this afternoon to scan again and I guess discuss next steps?
I’d prefer the surgery to get it over with. I’m too scared to leave the house instead something happens whilst I’m out, or am I overthinking this?
Please help rationalise my 100mph brain!!!! X

@californiacooper - they just gave me the 3 options (I was under 12 weeks). I was fully in control of my decision.
There also wasn’t an option to choose local or general anaesthetic, the procedure for me at my local hospital was general.
I’ve got this week off but I’m due back next week and I’m confident I should be okay by then.
I am really tired today but I sure that will wear off as the week goes on xx
