Empty sack

11 weeks today just been for an emergency scan as I had brown discharge over the weekend scan showed an empty sack ectopic pregancy has been ruled out I have to go back next week for another scan heads all over the place dont know what to think or do just feel empty

Sorry to hear this. You may have to accept this one is lost. Always sad and unfortunately not unusual

It's just the awful 9 day wait now to be told officially it has gone :( wish they had just told me today

I’m so sorry. Same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago - 12 week dating scan showed an empty sac and I’d had pain and heavy bleeding in the week or so before.
It is so hard to deal with isn’t it; all the happiness and hope of the pregnancy just goes. It’s ok to be sad and it helps to let it all out. 2 weeks on and I’m starting to feel a bit better. Tell a few trusted people if you think it will help you, let them look after you, and make sure you look after yourself.

It's awful may sound daft but i have gone and booked a private scan so I dont have to go through the wait just to be told I just want to have it confirmed and deal with how to heal with this just so sad I was due for my 12 week scan on the 26th April then fly to New York the next day then my 25th birthday on the Monday 29th April I dont know how am going to cope
