7 WEEKS ON FROM MY M/C AND NEED HELP/ADVICE

Hi ladies- I'm pretty new round here but I we share each others pain after m/c. Hope I'm welcome here as i have been TTC for 3 yrs and had a m/c on the 1 June.
BUT something odd has happened..I had what I thought was my 1st period after my m/c on the 5th july- it lasted for 3 days and i thought it short but put it down to the m/c etc.. Then on the 12th july i had smudging when i wiped myself- sorry if tmi- and this lasted for 2 or 3 days- that would have been cd7-9. I am now on what i believed to be cd17 and this morning the 10 -yes 10 - pg tests i ordered off ebay arrived. Could I resist doing one..? Could I hell and it came up faintly pos!!!! How come, could it be residual hormone left from the m/c...7-8 weeks ago? If my period was 5 July how could I show pg on day 17? Confused? Yup. Can't get hopes up as firstly I'm scared of hoping, scared of being pg after nightmare pg and m/c of twins at 12 weeks- they stopped dev at 6-7 weeks and just plain worried.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks alot.

Hi Rachee- you're so right - the waiting's hell. I am a fool- it's official. I tested today- cd 23- can you believe me?
I got 10 cheapies delivered this morning from e aby and it was a bfn. No suprise but has demoralised me SO much.
Fool, fool, fool.
Anyway I have still got mad pms symptoms- i am so bloated and tired..I don't mean to bull myself up but these were the 'normal' symptoms when I have been pg b4. But i also have the normal pmt symptoms. Sick of analysing myself- I'm p+++++g myself off.
Let me know how it is with you....8 days till T DAY for you- how're you feeling?
xx

hi all just read through your recent messages had my miscarriage at almost 12 weeks 2 weeks ago, shut myself away and felt sorry for myself, is this normal!!! each day getting easier and reading your messages has inspired me to get off my bum and start being me again

kittywits · 24/08/2006 14:35

Clumsy, when I had my first miscarriage I felt so angry, shocked and dreadful for ages. You are going through a bereavment and need time to morn. You will start to feel better slowly. Good luck,

andi0411 · 24/08/2006 16:17

Clumsy hi and so sorry for your m/c .I think what you're experiencing is normal- it's still so raw. My last mc was 12 weeks ago and yesterday it hit me that I wouls have been 22 weeks pg- didn't really feel like sharing it with anyone but it felt awful again. Look after yourself and let yourself feel what you need to. We're all here for you if you need to talk.

thanks guys really good to talk to people who have been through but also cool to get advice from others too everyone here is too scared to say anything constuctive for fear of upsetting me!!! other half fantastic though and got 21/2 year old keeping me busy during the day but it,s the nite times i struggle was it my fault, unknown guilt is such a b*h. didn,t m/c the normal way 'baby' stopped growing around 6 weeks just after a fall down a hill hence the user name, but body didn't reject found out at scan and was taken in to hospital the same day, they say it wasn't my fault but you can't help wondering.

Rachee · 25/08/2006 09:38

clumsy, don't look for blame, at the end of the day there are no answers..... just keep talking.... to everyone, including DH !

at MN we all her for each other, and i have found it so presious to know that i wasn't the only one !! and therefore not alone.

Clumsy a viable embryo is pretty hard to get rid of, a non viable embryo will go no matter what you do. If it were that easy to terminate a pregnancy we wouldn't need clinics. Unfortuately for you the 2 things happened at the same time. 6 weeks is a very common time for a non viable embryo to die. Don't beat youself up. It's not you fault xxxxx

Rachee · 25/08/2006 23:03

andi how you doing.....? re tested yet? you may not be positive till tuesday....

don't loose heart until af arrives....

xXx

andi0411 · 27/08/2006 11:40

Hi Rachee- how're you? Today is cd 25 for you isn' t it- are you testing cd 28 (Wed) if af doesn't come? God I really hope Wednesday is YOUR day my love.

Haven't had a good week this week I'm afraid- bit 'down'- just remembering m/c - working out how far along I'd be etc..not good for me at all.

Anyway- cd 27 today of a 28-32 cycle- I am going to leave it until cd 32 (Fri)at the earliest- though I know you'll understand when I say I did a test last night- totally bfn. Not to worry. Have had period pains this week, so abit worried - what's happenng with you- any period aches etc? what pg tets do yu recommend- I have some cheapie e bay ones and a twin pack from Asda...
Good luck xx

OP posts:
Rachee · 27/08/2006 13:16

any pg test works, it's just the more expensive ones are more sesitive, so you get bfp earlier. if your not testing till day 32, then anyone will do. i have cupboard full of different kits, pg test range from very very basic £1 each, to £9.99 each.....

i can't work out what i am feeling, few little period aches, but that could be uterus closing over if pg..... then also nausious too, but that could be just hunger, or getting myself worked up about puppy and baby..... LOL ... so i haven't a clue..... boobs haven't started hurting but are geting bigger... again could be extra weight gain or pre period bloat or pg !! see what i mean, i am clueless, for every good sign there is a counter sign....

Have a good bank holiday, thinking of you..... ( i sahll start thinking about m/c when i come on, or if i don't ! ) i understand what your going through, head for the choccy....

xXx
