Welcome everyone, pull up a chair! A thread for anyone who has suffered multiple miscarriages and is in need of company, information, moral support, tea or sympathy.

Can I suggest we start page 1 with a recap of where we are all up to, because my fuddled head can't keep track?

Not, mine was Turner syndrome, too. Sad x

DownstairsMixUp · 03/01/2014 10:11

squiz dont give up yet! Ive had lots of thick mucusy discharge since i found out. The pink just may be some left over ib :-)

tannyLoo · 03/01/2014 10:27

Squiz big unmumsnetty squeeze from me. Really hope it's ok, but we all understand how worried you are, and will never belittle your concerns and fob you off. Fingers crossed it's implantation bleeding still. It sounds like a family trait...

My news sounds ever so mundane, but there is no news. Bfn and still no af, but lots of cramping and hip and back pain during the night.

I am away at mil's for the next few days so I'll leave my tests here and test again on Monday if af doesn't show up.

squizita · 03/01/2014 10:56

Thanks ladies Thanks will just have to wait it out I guess! GP said the same - also that 'if' it's a chemical preg it would likely be a dna-faulty egg, so no treatment would have worked something I know but dont wanna hear. I never thought of pooping or plug-forming having a role ... My cervix is a fussy beast although normal size/health (messy smears/scans/DTD = gynie fuss in 2010, all ok phew).

Notgivingup1 · 03/01/2014 11:43

Sounds like you are dealing with it really well squiz. Thinking of you and let us know how you get on. This early bit with no scans possible is horrid.
Have a nice chilled out time tanny
Hugs to just - obviously wish it hadn't happened to you but nice to know I am not alone

DownstairsMixUp · 03/01/2014 12:03

Also squiz could be just an ectropian cervix if it carries on... i've had this before and it causes pink/brown spotting. It's abnormal cells that sit on the cervix or something.

Justonemoretime · 03/01/2014 12:25

Sooooo... opk +ive for 2nd time this month. Guess I'd better get back to it! Wink

fedupofrainydays · 03/01/2014 12:39

Hmmm what cd are you just? And when was your last pos opk?

squiz hope you are managing to stay calm. Had any more bloody cm? I know its mega stressful. An even when people say its normal that doesn't help with the stressing.

Justonemoretime · 03/01/2014 12:47

I am on day 13 since LMP. The other +ive was only day 6, no idea what that was all about, but I think this is the real deal as I have ewcm too now. Its all a bit wtf atm. Shock

fedupofrainydays · 03/01/2014 12:54

What kind of tests are you using? Yeah, with ewcm this sounds like the real deal!

Justonemoretime · 03/01/2014 12:56

they're cheap and nasty little dip sticks but normally pretty accurate. Smile

squizita · 03/01/2014 13:00

Downstairs yes I wondered that. Dh mentioned clexane might make my bleedy cervix more bleedy/less clotty perhaps? Bless him he doesn't want to stress/upset me so isnt saying too much! Except being nice.

just day 13 sounds good to DTD - about the middle of an average cycle? Time to get the sexy undies out!

Trying not to go to the loo every minute. Seems to be tailing off a bit at the mo. Feel sick, sore boobs, no cramps. We shall have to see!

fedupofrainydays · 03/01/2014 13:04

I only ask cos I have had fake positives with digital opks! Ie smiley faces at the wrong time!

Does sound better / more positive squiz got my fx for you.

DownstairsMixUp · 03/01/2014 13:11

Ask about it on your next appointment squiz. I always had "brown blood" but then when the doctor poked it, fresh blood came out so that's how she figured it was an ectropian. They do tend to go away on their own (mine has now)

Have you poas just?

Just been gp, he says i'm about 5 weeks 4 days going my LMP. Been referred to an obsetritian as i have epilepsy and he put down i'm a bit anxious so hoping for an early scan. No cramping so far this pg, no blood, just feel ultra tired/could eat a horse/bad skin and headaches. TBH i'd put up with the worst migraines ever to have a healthy baby!!

squizita · 03/01/2014 14:17

Best of luck downstairs, hope the symptoms remain apparent but not alarming (if you get what I mean!) ... just enough to reassure you! :)

Lancashire21 · 03/01/2014 15:04

Best wishes to everyone for a better 2014.

fedupofrainydays · 03/01/2014 18:40

Quick q... Has anyone else experienced cramps after their mc at points in the month when they shouldn't have them really? I'm on day 2 of cramping and af isn't even due til next week :(

Justonemoretime · 03/01/2014 18:42

I think you get hyper aware of your body. If its not very painful I wouldn't worry. I feel every tiny twinge these days, its probably just gas... Smile

squizita · 03/01/2014 19:14

Fedup yes I had that and when I asked a gynie they explained that all the tiny changes to your body don't 'spring back' all at once (the uterus/vagina do but some muscles lag etc'), muscles and stuff can twinge up to a year afterwards.

fedupofrainydays · 03/01/2014 20:37

Oh great.....
But thanks for the honesty!!! I fucking hate miscarriages

DownstairsMixUp · 04/01/2014 00:16

I got some odd twinges for a while after my erpc fedup and agree with just that you are very aware of your body after these things...

Thank you squiz i've been trawling my MN posting history today, with my blighted ovum i worked out it took me 12 days after my implantation bleed to get a (very faint) positive and this time i got a positive 3 days after IB and it was quite strong. I'm clinging onto any hope for some positive signs. Jeez i need a life!

fedupofrainydays · 04/01/2014 07:04

Hi squiz how are you doing? Has the blood taken a hike? Hope so. With the mc I just had, the blood didn't go away and was fairly constant which made me think there was something deffo wrong.

Fx for you xx

Notgivingup1 · 04/01/2014 10:11

Feeling a bit yuk. Woke up to the dreaded AF (got tiny bit of hope last night as it still hadn't arrived) and yesterday found out that 2 of my really good friends are pregnant with their second. It never even occurred to me that I wouldn't be pregnant again by now. For some crazy reason thought that at least that would work! Find this whole thing a form of mental and emotional torture sometimes. Usually you would turn to your friends but actually want to avoid a lot of them! Awful as I love them to bits and it's not their fault. Sorry for the rant. Going to make sure I have a nice weekend before return to work on Monday. And I should be happy that I got a decent cycle length this time as it had got weirdly short. Hope everyone else is doing ok today.

DownstairsMixUp · 04/01/2014 10:27

not this will make me sound terrible but I actually hid a few people who fell pregnant around the time of my second m/c. I just couldn't bear seeing it. i know i sound like a jealous old cow (i am) but it upset me. I have unhidden them now but it plays with your emotions.

DownstairsMixUp · 04/01/2014 10:27

strikethrough fail!
