Hi there,

I am also Gloucestershire Mum, and mummy to be.
Have a ds of 11 months, and a ds on the way, due the beginning of November.

I work part time at the moment, soon to be a housewife when I'm on maternity leave. I'm 23, 24 next month.

I'm learning to drive at the moment, hopefully I'll be mobile soon. But as soon as I've left work, and hopefully passed my test(fingers crossed) I'll be free and mobile for any meetups. It'll be great to meet some new people!

Keep in touch

Hey there,
I'm in sunny Gloucester, so about half an hour from Cirencester.

I've been soooo busy this week I haven't really had that much time to come on here, but I have to say- There has to be more people around our area....doesn't there?
I was really suprised that we're still the only ones! lol.
Still...I will keep popping on and bumping us up to the top of the topics list!

Hope you're both well anyway!
I'll pop on again as soon as I'm free again!

Take care ladies

Jainey · 21/07/2005 20:39

Hi Glostttterrrr Girls

WOW I cant believe how many posts there are now

Hamster, I usd to live in Abbeydale. Have you always lived in Glos?

Vicky, LOL about everyone running away to Liverpool Which part of Glos are you? Ciren is lovely and has some amazing parks and water parks too but the shops are very limited so we usually pop into Chelt for shops ? yipeeeeee J Although now I just shop for the girls who are already love shoes J . There are 15 months between Lily and Charlotte and I hope they continue to be as close when they get older. They do play very well together although they still have their ?moments?. It is hard work looking after two at such a young age but I think it will be lovely when they get older (as long as they don?t fight over boyfriends) oh no I?m not even going to think about that yet ahhhh

Well the littles ones are still chattering away upstairs ? bless.

I am looking forward to watching ?ectras? tonight with Ricky Gervais I hoep its as good as The Office.

Byeee Glostersssssssssssss

Damn i missed extras- was it any good ? I fell to sleep as was exhausted by about 7pm!

Excuse me for hijacking! Jainey - is the open air pool still open? I used to live in Ciren and loved going there after work. I'm coming back in a few weekends' time to visit and wanted to take dd if it's still there (and warm enough!).

beep · 05/08/2005 12:06

I'm in gloucester (abbeydale)with my 18mo dd and have never really 'met' anyone from nearby.
Janey, what is the water park in Ciren like? I've been in the evenings with work but wasn't sure what there was to do with children.

Jainey · 12/08/2005 16:39

Hi Jainey and all other Glos mums. Why don't we try to arrange a meet up for all of us at some point?
Who would be interested?
If you are, let us know where and when you would be available and hopefully we could arrange something.

Jainey, could you give me some directions on the Water PArk? PRetty please?

Let's keep bumping!

Dd has just appeared carrying her nappy so better go for now...

Surfermum · 15/08/2005 21:14

Hi Jainey, thanks for the info re the pool. I used to live in Ciren and worked in Cheltenham. I really miss it sometimes, although not so much in the summer when I'm always at the beach . Keynes Park was lovely, but not quite the same!

We're coming up this weekend and staying at the Oddfellows, which I see they've changed. How dare they! Hope it's for the better though. I was really, really upset when the Catherine Wheel at Bibury was done up, that was my favourite pub of all and they took the soul out of it. I also used to drink at the Twelve Bells a lot, so will deffo pop in there.

Mummyvicky · 16/08/2005 11:49

Hi girlies!!
Sorry I've not been on for a while...complete bedlam here!! I've only just got around to booking my 6 week postnatal check, and he is almost 8 weeks! .
I've joined weightwatchers last week to to shift all the weight I piled on in the past two years, so feeling good about that!!

I'm definately up for a meetup if one happens!
Hope your all well
xx Vicky

So when is everybody free then? BEst times for me are MOndays, Wednesday mornings or Fridays.

Any suggestions on where we can meet? There are some soft play centres in Gloucester and Cheltenham (hellish as they are!) but I can travel anywhere else if that is better for you all.
