If the weathers good, Cotswold water park is brilliant, other places around Cirencester is Magicland a soft play centre with a cafe and sofas for the mums- but its really busy in the school holidays..any other ideas anyone ?

Jainey · 21/08/2005 09:31

Hello Everyone,

Hoep you are enjoying the weekend.

MummyVicky, you are right The Cotswold Water Park at Ciren is fab and Magic Land too. Otherwise the AbbeyGrounds in Ciren is fun too. Alternatively Pitville Park in Chelt is good too.

Hope we can arrange a group get together soon. In the meantime, if anyone fancies a chat and a coffee just let me know.

bye

Hi..just found this site today!!! Wish I'd fouind it months ago. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and still have another 6 weeks at work!!! But then I have 18 weeks maternity and no idea how I'll fill the time, when my last son was born 18 months ago, I was back at work when he was 10 weeks old. So it would be lovely to meet some other mums, to have a chat and coffee with!!

p.s. I live in Cirencester and am 39.

Jainey · 01/09/2005 10:27

Hi Redtartanlass and welcome to our thread

I hope you have had a happy and healthy pregnancy and your little will be here soon.

We also live in Cirecester and have two daughters called Charlotte and Lily aged 2.5 and 16 months. Have you lived in Ciren long? We have been here approx 8 years now and the children love the Abbeygrounds and water park. Do you work in Ciren?

It would be lovely to meet up for a coffee and a chat.

Speak soon

Jainey - sorry did not get back to you, been in hospital for a couple of days have been a bit ill. Viral infection apparantly. I would love to meet up, I'm still working until Oct 10, the week of the birth, but I'd love to meet for a coffee once I'm on maternity, have discovered I now get 6 months. Right decisive action is required! HOw about a MOnday in October? I haven't got my diary to hand but how about (hope I'm not wrong with my mental calculations) either the 10th or 24th?
Any suggestions on venue? I'm in Gloucester so I'd rather not go any further south than Cirencester with my inevitably cranky 1yo!

Jainey · 24/09/2005 14:33

Fine for us we are free both dates at the moment
