Meet-ups

When meeting up take sensible precautions. Meet in a public place and let others know where you are going.

So shall we try again for a Kent meet up?

Hey cadbury,

New to MN, not quite a mum yet, am in september. I'd be up for meeting in July or August, if you don;t mind me coming. I;m isle of Sheppey, but will (hopefully) still be driving at beginning of August.

Fio2 · 30/06/2005 11:03

yes i will

singleteenagemum, my ds reckons that only pirates live on sheppey i have no idea where he gets the idea from but apparentlky you have lots of buried treasure, oooo-arrr

cadbury · 30/06/2005 11:09

Hi stm, how's it going?

We could meet up in your area if that would be easier for you.

We could do a Faversham lunch again if people would like that. My kids enjoy those. What do you reckon Fio?

Fio2 · 30/06/2005 11:11

yes

STm, if you get the train to sittingbourne, you just have to swap train and go next stop down to fav, would that be too hard?

singleteenagemum · 30/06/2005 11:12

my neck of the woods isn't exactly the nicest. I'm sure i'll be ok to drive, so do whatever is easiest for everyone else. I'll be on maternity as of 29th July so after that would be good, but i'm sure i can do earlier if need be.

Caligula · 30/06/2005 11:24

Maybe, depending on where kids are (might be at my Mum's if I can't get my act together re summer holiday childcare)

cadbury · 30/06/2005 14:03

It would be nice to meet you Caligula

OP posts:
Fio2 · 30/06/2005 14:49

I am quite scared of you caligula

Caligula · 30/06/2005 14:49

Oh blimey, you won't be when you meet me!

singleteenagemum · 30/06/2005 15:00

cadbury · 30/06/2005 15:21

Rickman.

Do you want to do it beofre the kids break up or after? Just thinking if we wanted to meet in the weatherspoon again, is everyone happy with that with their kids. Its a no smoking area and we could go outside if its nice.

I won't hold my breath Cadders!

Sorry I forgot about your party thing too!!! I was rushing round like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get everthing done and dusted before we went on our hols. In the end I gave up and have lots still to do now we are back home.
Got back to a pile of post, loads of hospital appointment and a few phone messages re DD!!

My mum is going back into hospital on Sunday too!!!

cadbury · 02/07/2005 12:15

Dingle, the party thing isn't until next Thursday (7th). So if you felt able to come (or just needed an evening out) please do.
Hope all goes well with your mum.

Hi!

Although I am registered here I am still quite 'new' to the site. I live in Teynham - could I join you on your meet please?! I can tell you more about myself if you like just so you know I'm a real person!! lol!

CJayne

cadbury · 04/07/2005 22:08

Hi, of course you can. Details are a big sketchy at the moment but keep an eye on this thread and we'll get ourselves organised soon.
Now, where abouts is Teynham? I'm in Medway with a dd of 4 and a ds of very nearly 2.
