Hi, There seem to be so many support threads for the south. I am 29 living in Horwich pregnant with first baby. I also belong to the Expecting Feb 06 thread.

If there is anyone in the local area who would like to join this thread...please jump on board {smile}

Not so far from you, live in Chorley. You can usually find me ahopping at Middlebrook!
Have a ds 4 and dd 13 months. Oh and am 34.

TicTac · 29/06/2005 21:17

Hi Katemum, I am about 10 mins from Middlebrook, the Tesco there is my local although I can't face supermarkets at the minute :-)

4 and 13 months, that seems like a beautiful age gap!

Katemum · 29/06/2005 21:22

We use that tesco as well.
The age gap is fine, we just seem to be going through the terrible fours at the moment, did feel a bit too lucky that we didn't have many problems when he was two!
How is the pregnancy going? I sailed through my first pregnancy and hated most of my second, still sad that I am planning not to be pregnant ever again, two is definately enough for me though.

TicTac · 29/06/2005 21:32

Well I am only 8 weeks but found out really early on since we where activley trying. Preg not been too bad, I have not actually been sick but feel nauseous most of the time, some days much worse then others, have sore mubs that are now starting to resemble a road map and had a bleed on Monday night which was all a bit scary to say the least. We had a scan yesterday though and saw our little heartbeat fluttering away and was told everything is ok so we are hoping things will run smooth from here.

I had an early miscarriage just before getting pregnant with dd so understand how scary it can be. Glad everything is ok.
There are more of us from Lancashire on mumsnet, might need to keep bumping this up for them to spot it.

TicTac · 29/06/2005 22:30

How do we bump this up?
I am off to bed now.

TicTac · 30/06/2005 22:30

Evening ladies..hope you are all well. Sounds like there are loads of "mums" out there...that is so reassuring! Sometimes it feels like there is nobody local and you are all just in the cyber space! Sorry I have not posted on here earlier, I have been working in our Solihull office today. First time I have done the journey since being pregnant...boy it has taken it out of me!! I will post in tomorrow.

Nice to meet you all too

Did any of you ladies have bleeding during your pregnancies? I have bled a couple of times, only a little. Went for scan a week ago and all was well with tictac and no sign of where the bleed came from....I now worry with every little twinge I get...
