Near Emmerdale?

sockmonkey · 24/10/2009 15:44

My SIL grew up there, but I've only been a couple of times. It is lovely, but very hilly and can get a bit bad if it snows.
Other than that I don't really know.
Hope someone out there can help you.

Ledodgy · 24/10/2009 15:48

No not near Emmerdale, I think Emmerdale is filmed near leeds.

Oh yes the hills and the snow. Can't wait.

Oh im in love I love Yorkshire so much. I feel like I can breate. We saw a lovely rainbow as we got there today over the fields it was perfect like one the children draw with a beginning and an end.

Im going to use this as my very own personal moving diary until some f*cker that lives there shows up!

Ledodgy - I live in Scissett - next village to Skelmanthorpe and about 15mins drive/ 8 miles oto Holmfirth. I am there about once a week or so, I love it. Cute shops, nice walks, fab playground in park... good pubs too.

Ledodgy · 25/10/2009 22:52

I was in Skelmanthorpe today it's where our nephew and niece live and they go to scissett school! I'm liking that there are good pubs in Holmfirth. It would be fab to meet up once i'm there. I have 3 children dd aged 6, ds1 who is 4 next month and ds2 who is 2 in January.
