I am in Caterham & am looking to meet-up with other Mum's in the Surrey area.

Have the moved the rubble pile then? Didn't look yesterday as I walked past on the way home from the library. I'm around the corner from you. I wonder how long the pile of rubble that was the police stations will be there then

No, and they're not planning to. Also not the police station debris. They are just waiting until the land is sold and it will be re-used.

All the residents of our street complained in the summer on the grounds that it has to be an enviromental hazard at the very least, if not a health & safety concern. Their answer was to fence it off and that's it!

If there's ever a riot plenty of ammunition to throw at the police then.......

can i join in? staines is strictly in middlesex, but i don't think middlesex really counts as a county. would love to meet up though. 1 ds, 11 months.

Oh I know where you mean although im confused about the tower blocks I'm in the very small O Village!

It's referred to as the towers, because it's called Surrey Towers IYSWIM also it refers to the whole of that estate which includes the mainsonette blocks.
