Is anyone interested in joining us this year?

This will be the fifth year of the picnic which usually takes place in August. We usually meet at town gate under a large green gazebo. There is space for the children to play football, a small stream where they could paddle, a children's play area and a small kiosk selling Ice-cream.

Please add your details and availability to the list.

Mummyhill - DD age 7 DS age 3 Available anytime in August.

Weather still bad over here so I am going to cancel sorry everyone. Will try to arrange a night out at Christmas.

where is that on?

WinnieThePooh · 26/08/2009 10:12

It is dry here at the moment, but the ground is very wet from very heavy rain overnight, so the park would be very muddy.

Now that I don't have to go out, I can get my packing done. We are gong back down to Devon this weekend.

unpacks car

I checked at 9am and was just going to set off-am so glad I checked again. Its just overcast here (just by Cannock) at the moment but forecast looks grim- especially from 12-4!!! Typical weather hey? If nothing was arranged it'd have been glorious sunshine.....

Am up for a night out at Xmas tho!!
