so far those interested...

spot JJ tilly possibly
i'll ask turnip, too

i suggest meeting at the cafe in the middle of finsbury park - easy for cambridgers, good cheap food, possible to eat inside or have picnic outside.

let's think about mid may.

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry I cant make tomorrow. It is our 4th wedding anniversary and I expected nothing to happen (it usually doesnt) but it turns out DH has booked the day off so we can do something together. This will still be with the children, though, sadly

Its probably because last week I was saying I had had enough of everything and needed a break ! Anyway, I'm sorry not to be able to come, its just as well DH is crap at keeping secrets otherwise I wouldnt have realised till tomorrow.

WG Thanks for organising this and I'd love to come to the next one. I hope you are feeling a bit less sad yourself than earlier in the week. Have fun.

jump and spot - looks like it is the 3 of us. maybe just meet in the cafe, then? btw - jj - if you want to cop out because it is a helluva long way, feel free. let's see how we're fixed tomorrow.

Small but perfectly formed gathering! NJAN have a fantastic anniversary

Spot/WG do either of you fancy meeting up a bit earlier than 2pm? Looking at trains, if I want to get dd home on the cheap day return train before the rush hour kicks off I'll have to leave at 3.30 which isn't really much time for chat!

(it's rubbish, if you get a cheap day you can't be on trains leaving London between 4.30 and 7 pm which is frankly a really mean policy)

spotofcheerfulness · 14/05/2009 07:38

Boo - that does seem a very short time - is 3.30 the last train that leaves before 4.30? How uncivilised .
As I'm afraid my life is bound by T's sleep I will be around F'sbury park earlier (from about 1) but will be walking around without stopping! So if you see some loon walking around, 'tis I - my number is 07903731141 if you need to get in touch. Really looking forward to seeing you later. Don't know if WG is around earlier though? I think she originally suggested 1pm?

spotofcheerfulness · 14/05/2009 07:39

Oh, is Turnip not around too?

jumpjockey · 14/05/2009 08:51

Spot - there's the 3.57 and the last one at cheap rate is 4.11 but that doesn't get in til 5.30 which is a v long time on the train for nipper... will see if WG is up for earlier at all, otherwise might chase you!

Have a lovely time, have been doing a sun dance for you but doesn't seem to have worked!
