Just seen this too (thanks for email, Bunny - what a surprise you suggesting a boozy night out ). Wed 9th March is OK with me.

Delgirl, hope you are OK??? I'm quite happy to do the driving this time (Delgirl/Bunny/anyone else near me), midweek is not a good drinking night for us poor souls having to put in an appearance at work the next day (learnt that the last time)!

Delgirl - no it's not the Brewer's Fayre. If you go to the end of the dual carriage way near the new Asda (as if you were driving towards the Quay) you will get to a big roundabout. The Rising Sun is on that roundabout.

Now I'm confused!!! Thought we were talking about Rising Sun in Xchurch!!! Looking forward to it if I'm able to walk without wincing by then - off to GP this afternoon - I'm in agony!!!!! moan, moan!

Nope, still not sure where you mean Sparkler, sorry. If you go past the dolphin centre on the left and over the bridge/flyover (station on your right) to the roundabout there, where is it from there?

just had another look and there's a yellow arrow on the map, not all that clear, but at least I know where it is now lol. Sparkler, sorry to be dim, is it quite near that tiny car park just off the roundabout?

Hope you all have a good time, when I was going out with a lad form Broadstone in the 80s you were considered daringly exotic and reckless if you went for an Indian meal let alone Thai, glad things have changed

Hello you two, are you both ok?. The 80's eh, them were the days, still remember going for my 1st chinese back in the 70's, now that was exotic!! Thai can be a bit on the hot side can't it but i'm sure i'll manage to eat something . No, as you can probably tell, the baby is still happily ensconced for now but not for much longer, 5 weeks at most so i'm told. Have no fear, I will keep MN informed.
