Justine, got back to me and it seems that the e-mails to both of you bounced back!

Will check times and e-mail you custardo.

CAM · 25/04/2003 21:07

That's v.strange because I received mumsnet newsletter only yesterday so will email Justine with my email address just to make sure. Looks like you can make an arrangement with Custy to meet at Brighton station, Willum. See you both at the Grand.

Sorry to report that I'm not going to make it today. sobsobsob (May is just too long a month to support expenditure on trainfare + restaurant + all the alcohol I will need!) I hope everyone has a FANTASTIC time. xxxx

Tortington · 26/04/2003 23:39

Great to see you again Custy and Dannie and nice to meet you for the first (but not the last) time Willum. Bad luck Scummy and Mabs (we missed both of you). But nice food and good goss. I think it's your turn to organise the next Brighton one then, Custy!

your on cam! i know this grotty little greasy spoon on church rd hove!
who is up for undercooked bacon and eggs then fried bread - do you do black puddin' down here? ( i really do but we wont got there promise)

i am gasping for a decent curry, really you southerners are useless in the curry stakes and i reckon the most cosmopolitan place outside london is brighton and so it must have a decent curry house.

suggestions anyone

i go away most of june ( to france hurrah!)

how about the next mumsnet meet up be saturday 26th july.
SATURDAY 26TH JULY ANYONE???
i dont go out of my way, and so as to not make this a task of arduous proportions, check your diaries, and make your suggestions.

i dont want to walk into a restaurant having booked early for 10 people to be completely embarrased at only two of us being there i hope you all understand.

finally

you londerners shame on you, its only a bloody train ride away, come on dump your babies and get your arse on a train.

AND cam will testify i am a mouse in person honest

Custy, you're killing me again! Totally agree though, Victoria to Brighton: less than 1 hour on the train. I see you've started its own thread for the new/next Brighton meet-up so I suggest evryone interested posts on there.
Amanda, The Grand or The Metropole (both are on the seafront and have swimming pools, etc.)
