I expect they do pub type food non?
and please are there any sports scheduled for that weekend?

Kewcumber · 08/07/2008 13:29

I'll check (about sports) - have eaten there once before - quite pleasant basic food - burgery kind of thing (haven;t checked what their veggie options are like though)

me, me, me! And it's just around the corner from me!

sfxmum · 08/07/2008 13:37

yes it is easy to get home thankfully, but I would rather not have a sporty rowdy crowd around watching some match sorry for being picky

Kewcumber · 08/07/2008 13:39

I quite fancy rubbing shoulders with a few rugby players! But agree there probably needs to be room to sit and talk - unlikely if football or something is on.

is Ma Cuisine still in Kew ? that's v nice...sadly I don't live in W London any more...

ComeOVeneer · 08/07/2008 13:49

Count me in. I have no babysitting worries for a change as dh is taking a few days of work that week and taking the children to stay at his parents' house so I have 4 days all to myself

SushiMummy · 08/07/2008 13:54

What is the date for this meet-up?

MaryAnnSingleton · 08/07/2008 14:08

I'd never make it in time from where I live !

sfxmum · 08/07/2008 14:08

MAS did you move to the sticks and are living the dream?
very attractive proposition but I would miss this lot

MaryAnnSingleton · 08/07/2008 14:10

yep, we moved out,not quite to the sticks but to a country market town,so bit of civilisation and nice countryside, but at times I miss W London and being able to pop over the bridge to Kew which is where I grew up !

MaryAnnSingleton · 08/07/2008 14:11

are you in Kew or nearby ? we were in Brentford

sfxmum · 08/07/2008 14:15

I am quite like it here despite tiny flat, plenty of green open spaces.

I often dream of a Somerset farm house but clearly only after a lottery win

Kewcumber · 08/07/2008 14:20

it's a very nice flat - and not that tiny!

bnyan - read the title
