The only thing I will win is a .... oh it is too late to think of something witty and funny.....

We had lovely cakes today from Grogs - from Costco no less!!! Yum Yum!!

browny · 22/04/2008 22:27

Hi, thought I'd better sign in to let you know I haven't emigrated! I won't be joining you this time, morning sickness (well all day/night sickness) has completely wiped me out, I'm not sleeping at all at night, so dh's been taking ds2 out for a while in the day so I can catch up on some sleep. I've got my scan tomorrow.... I hate needles!

Hope everyone is well . xx

JustJaamy · 23/04/2008 10:29

Good luck for your scan, Browny. Sorry to hear morning sickness is still with you. Hope you had a lovely relaxing time at the Spa and caught up on some rest. Are they likely to be taking blood?i

you won't make it to Bingo. If we win big we'll have a drink in your honor!

Ei - LOL at wee-stained pleated skirt.

Was forgetting that we had a few dirty looks and tuts from the regulars. Obv realised that we were in favour with the bingo caller...such a cutie! WOuldn't worry about flirting SA2/Nemo - he prob goes home with the jackpot winner every week. Why else would he be in bingo?

AR - you HAVE to win. You are our lucky mascot. Only reason I won't be passing my pen around is because I'll probably have forgotten it!

Clickety-click!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 23/04/2008 20:07

browny hope your scan went well
BL good luck with yours will you be finding out the sex??
hi to everyone else
xx ei xx

browny · 24/04/2008 17:54

Hi, my scan went well yesterday, despite an empty bladder (didn't think I'd be seen straight away), the baby was asleep but suddenly jumped like someone had startled him/her, baby measured 11 weeks 3 days, so that's a due date of 9th November, so I was only one day out!.

Just booked a nuchal scan and blood test, apparently they have a 80% accuracy rate, compared to the triple blood test's rate of 60%, I was asked if I wanted to pay extra to have a 4D scan done at the same time, but I'm wondering how clear the baby's features were at only 12 weeks? Does anyone know if 4D scans are safe?

Biglips, how did your 20 week scan go today? Did you find out what you are having? .

MD - how many weeks are you now and how are you feeling? Does your dd know yet? I'm having trouble finding maternity clothes, Asda, Tesco's and M & S have stopped their range , any ideas where I can buy a nice dress for my Auntie's weddding in June? .

Mrsei - have you started your houses makeover yet?

Jammy, spa was fabulous, you'd love it, have a little look here www.hoarcross.co.uk. Mummyhill has had very bad news about her pregnancy, did you know? .

biglips · 24/04/2008 18:05

hey browny...gald your scan went well. so your baby is due the day after my bday

it went well-ish as couldnt find out the sex as the cord was between its legs and also the placenta is blocking my birth canal so gotta go back for another scan. its a right wriggly worm as the sonographer couldnt stop giggling and he said this baby wont keep still.

MyDingaling · 24/04/2008 18:12

Glad scans went well.
BL - when are yougoing for yur next one.
I am fine Browny, I am 28 weeks and no DD still doesn't know. I am the size of a house and she hasn't noticed!
Not sure about the maternity clothes - it's a pain trying to get things isn't it. I've got 2 nice maternity dresses suitable for a wedding, what a pity they'd be huge on you, both a size 14.

biglips · 24/04/2008 18:52

well i go back when im 30 weeks pg and need to see an consultant to see about the babys position, which way its facing and if its a big baby (had emergency c-section as dd was facing the wrong way)...then he will have to check the placenta again.....if it not moved then another scan at 34 weeks to check it again. so all in for now is 2 scans and maybe more after that. so its hospitals, hospitals with this one.
dd wanted to put the gel on my belly so she did and also helped me to wipe it off.

md - your dd prob wont noticed till you have the baby in your arms ...

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 24/04/2008 20:54

great news about your scans girls
i hope the placenta position doesnt cause you any problems BL browny 11+3 already!! wow how time flies
xx ei xx

browny · 24/04/2008 21:09

Biglips glad your scan went well, hope the placenta moves to a better position for you, but at least you'll have a few more scans to see what you are having .

MD, 28 weeks now, wow! How funny that your dd hasn't noticed your bump! As far as maternity dresses go the wedding isn't until June, so I may be a 14 by then, I've definately got a bump now, I've caught a few neighbours glancing at my tummy but not saying anything! I haven't told my very grumpy next door neighbours that we're having a new addition yet, they moan their heads off if the girls talk to their friends in my front garden!

Mrsei, I think other people's pregnancy's go much faster, I feel like I've been shattered and ill for weeks and weeks now, can't wait to get more energy and feel more human again!.

MyDingaling · 24/04/2008 22:00

Browny, you are very welcome to borrow my dresses, what date in June is the wedding?

browny · 24/04/2008 22:37

MD , the wedding is on the 12th JULY , good job I'm only at home and not working, otherwise I'd be sacked! Thank you for offering to lend me your dresses, that's very kind of you .

andyrobo237 · 25/04/2008 12:49

browny - I had a nuchal scan with T and it was a great peace of mind to me - I had it at LWH but wasnt offered a 4-D scan - I was under the impression they are better at 20 to 28 weeks as the baby is bigger!

Big Lips - I know all about hospital visits - I had loads with T as my ante-natal care was transferred to Ormskirk after diabetes was diagnosed.

Cant wait for next Sat - got the babysitter sorted and my pens sorted!!!! DD wants to kow why she cant come!!!!

MyDingaling · 26/04/2008 13:52

Well DD has just asked -what's in your tummy mummy?
So we have told her. Her first reponse was 'it's going to be so cute' then 'can I have a packet of crisps please?'
Not the response I was expecting!

browny · 26/04/2008 15:07

MD - ahh, wasn't that lovely, she's finally noticed! lol at asking for crisps straight after being told she was going to be a big sister!.

Andyrobo, I thought the baby would be far too small at 12 weeks to get a good 4D picture, I'm not sure if they as safe as the normal 12 week scan though.

JustJaamy · 28/04/2008 10:11

So, MD - will the baby be called Readysalted or Cheesenonion? See, when you are nearly 3 there are sooo many other more important things in life! Bless her! When is DD's b'day, BTW? I think it's May sometime, isn't it? And you are going on hols soon, aren;t you...gosh it's all happening!

I am currently trying to lose weight for our hols end of June. Thought that if I can't be round (ie, pg) then I will be svelt and gorgeous. Not that you can't be gorgeous when pg, but you know what I mean!

Ok, enough waffling...has everybody who need to logged on to the bingo website to become a member? Has everyone who went last time still got their membership cards? Don't worry if you're not a member yet, you can do it when you get there.

Plan: Saturday 6pm-ish (yes, Nemo you can tell DH real time, not MY time) at Huyton Buckingham Bingo - see website for location.

First there bagsy table - pref under nose of dishy caller. I will hang around lobby like a dodgy bingo hag and make sure everyone knows where they are going (like I know what I'm doing!).

Any questions?

Oh yeah, who's coming?

Jaamy
Andyrobo
Ei
Nemo
MyDingaling
Stoppinattwo
PinkJenny
TotalChaos - are you able to make it, I know you said you preferred Fri?
Gigglewitch - I think you said you couldn't make it?
Anyone heard from Heifer?

Everyone else welcome...

Browny - will be thinking of you, Sweetie. Hope you are feeling a bit better. Yes, I had heard Mummyhill's terrible news. Need to give her a call sometime this week. So sad.

OP posts:
TotalChaos · 28/04/2008 10:25

Don't think I can make it, sorry, Jaamy. Bet you lot win the jackpot too if I'm not there .

browny - wouldn't have thought there was that much difference between 4D and normal ultrasound - isn't it just the equipment is better? so if you are already having the extra nuchal scan, don't see why having a 4D one at same time would make it any riskier.

andyrobo237 · 28/04/2008 13:04

JustJaamy - how will we recognise you (for those of us who dont - I cant remeber if I met you or not - it would have been last summer when T was a baby at some park with SA2 and Nemo and BL and some others!!)

Oh I guess you will be the only one that is under 60!!!

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 28/04/2008 16:53

yep count me in i will join the bingo online in a min
should we all wear something conspicuous so we all know who we are for those who dont know people?? i have decided against the pee-stained skirt look cos im a jeans and tee-shirt gal really what dya think? should a make a big sign in sparkly pink glitter?? something along the lines of... LIVERPOOL LADIES OUT ON THA LASH...GET YOUR ARSES OVER HERE!! no??... ok im out of ideas...
xx ei xx

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 28/04/2008 17:03

iv joined the bingo club my mum will be so proud
xx ei xx

JustJaamy · 28/04/2008 18:43

LOL Ei - I carry my card with me wherever I go, just in case...

Erm, can't think of anything to wear that'd be conspicuous but not downright daft! Seem to remember last time that no one actually hung round the foyer, they were all straight in, drinks in, pens out, eyes down so it would be quite fair to say that anyone hanging around looking dodgy will be with MN!

For those who don't know me, I'm 5'9", medium build, dark bob-length hair and will be wearing a purple patterned top with short sleeves and jeans. May have my f* me shoes on (for the caller, of course!)or silver pumps for comfort, not decided yet.

Watch the caller now be a 60 yo woman with no teeth! LOL

JustJaamy · 28/04/2008 18:44
