We're getting our dabbers out and practicing our calls for Huyton Buckingham Bingo 2nd or 3rd May. Followed by drinks and spending of winnings.

How is the Firday night (3rd) for everyone else? Looks like the first sessions start at 6.30. May be a bit of a push for anyone working or waiting for partner to get home from work.

Price is £12 but I remember form last time that there's a whole host of little extras that you can get sucked into pay for!

I would prefer the saturday if that is ok...friday is a bit of a dash (dont get home till about 5.30ish and C has footie training 6 till 7pm) but possible from about 7.30 onwards...sorry should have said.But if not I will catch up with you guys as soon as I am ready.....infact It will increase my air of mysticism lol, being fashionably late

The wildflower centre said we could arrange our own private crafty session anytime jaamy so just left me know and I will arrange something for us

Just checked my diary - Sat would suit me better - havent been out in ages due to a month of sickness in the house!!

SA2 - need to catch up with you - loads of goss!!! Dont like emailing from work - you know the score!!

Never been to bingo but it sounds a good laugh - if it gets me away from a whingy baby then its great!

SA2 - thought you'd gone down Somerset way??? "Oooooh AR"!! We'll get the scrumpy out for you at the Bingo.

Looks like Sat 3rd is coming out better than Fri 2nd (sorry to GW and TC). Even I couldn't cope with 2 nights in a row.

So, date is Sat 3rd May for 6.30pm. The bar is closed when Bingo is on so if you want to get the drinks in you will have to be there at 6pm-ish. Listen to me, I sound like an expert but I honestly haven't been since went went 2 years ago!

MD - don't need a specialised dabber though is quicker to mark off numbers. I'm sure one of DD's felt tip pens will do the job! Unless you WANT a dabber?! How are you? Keeping well, I hope. Gosh, not long now, though I bet it seems ages to you!

Andyrobo - you sound like just the sort of expert player we need!

Yes, you have to be a member to play. You can join at the club on the night if you get there a bit earlier or can register on line here and print out the confirmation page just in case you haven't received your membership card before the 3rd.

Argh...is a week on Saturday! Rushes off to find mint imperials and lavendar toilet water...

oooh I have just completed the form - hope to get my card in time - sorted out babysitter for the hour between me leaving and DH getting home from work - so all I need to do now is decide what colour pen to bring - or maybe two!!!!

hi ladies
my mum and sister have asked if they can come to bingo too!! my mum is a bingo pro so she might win but my sis is a newbie like me (even tho iv been before im not good its my mum that is the winner) shall i tell them no?? i might do actually...
i will have to buy a dabber and "invest" in a pee-stained pleated skirt so i fit in with all the other old ladies (not including you lot obv) i will be the height of fashion for the bingo hall
