Not heard from Rickman in a while either - I was away....

Aero · 13/01/2005 22:01

Am sure she's around somewhere - saw her on a thread earlier - will text her re Weds.

Emelia · 13/01/2005 22:03

Looks like it's me you & freckle at the moment. Dh was just peering over my shoulder & thinks you must all think i'm mad to not know what else starbucks sells.I promise i'm not stupid i just never go there!

Aero · 13/01/2005 22:28

I've only been once Emilia! Lovely coffee and muffins etc, but will defo take something myself for ds2 then I can indulge in something nice! As long as I leave in time for the school pick-up I'll be fine.

Freckle · 13/01/2005 22:31

Ha! Not the oldest, Gilli, but I'm not revealing by how much!

Maidstone is dead easy for me as I live there. And yes, it's the Starbucks on the upper level.

Aero · 13/01/2005 22:36

Freckle - you and Gilli must have comparable aged families! (well almost as Gilli has a little one) - Gilli, maybe we can do Maidstone soon - would be nice to meet you.

Freckle · 14/01/2005 08:17

Quite close. Mine are almost 11, 9 and 6.

FineFigureFio · 14/01/2005 08:28

I culd manage canterbury Gilli

Emelia · 14/01/2005 10:12

Since we're discussing ages! I'm 29 ds is 4 , 5 in june(just started big school ) it sounds silly but me & dd are missing him. DD is 17 months.

KBear · 14/01/2005 13:29

Emelia - I CAT you last night about Tuesday. You will be overdosing on coffee next week! I wish I could make Wednesday too but work beckons.

Emelia · 14/01/2005 13:39

Haven't received it yet but it takes a while doesn't it? It does sound like a lot of coffee (don't usually drink it LOL!).........tues we could always hit a wine bar(only joking!)

Aero · 18/01/2005 13:33

Are we still on for tomorrow Freckle and Emilia? - Looking forward to a pootle round Bluewater and a lovely coffee and a chat. Have text'd Rickman, but haven't heard back yet. Can anyone else make it?

Freckle · 18/01/2005 13:50

I should be OK. Depends on the state of the dog's bowels! Have had to stay in today to keep letting him out as he has uncontrollable runs - sorry, hope no one's eating. Probably due to a large wodge of mouldy cheese he stole out of the bin yesterday, so hopefully all will be well by tomorrow.

Rickman can't make it as her dd has nursery. I think she's hoping to make one of the other meet up.

So, is it still 11.30 in Starbucks opposite Waterstones?

Aero · 18/01/2005 14:01

lol freckle - sorry - shouldn't laugh at your poor dog's misfortune, but it was the nicking the mouldy cheese bit that made me giggle. Shall I CAT you with a contact no?

Aero · 18/01/2005 14:02

Sorry - yes 11.30 at Starbuck's - inside or out? Inside will be more comfy I think.

Emelia · 18/01/2005 14:03

Still fine with me. Is there a plan to recognise one another?

Freckle · 18/01/2005 14:11

Yes, do, Aero - just in case there's a last minute crisis.

Aero · 18/01/2005 14:16

Freckle and I have already met Emilia so will hopefully remember what each other looks like. I'll be the one with a small boy in a Buggy looking for someone I've never met! Will CAT you with some more details if you like.

Gilli · 18/01/2005 21:55

Hi Freckle and Aero, would love to do a Maidstone meet sometime: I'm intrigued to find I'm not the oldest....

Aero · 18/01/2005 23:09

Hi again Gilli - look out for this - we'll do a Maidtone one soon hopefully.

Freckle · 19/01/2005 16:28

Two minutes before I have to dash out again, but it was lovely to see Aero again at Bluewater and to meet Emilia - very brave of Emilia to turn up hoping to spot us, whereas Aero and I had already me so it was more a question of hoping we would remember what each other looked like!

The two children were lovely - don't often get to cuddle littlies these days.

Must do it again soon - although I shall have to restrain my shopping habit at Bluewater as I always end up spending far more than I should.

Emelia · 19/01/2005 17:15

Had a nice hour. Shame it couldn't have been longer but that's toddlers for you! I too am a little guilty of getting carried away shopping. Dh is away at the mo so at least i got to hide the bags discreetly!!

Aero · 19/01/2005 22:05

lol you two - had a lovely time too - Starbuck's do great coffee! Also guilty as charged re spending too much money! Really good to see you again Freckle - even though I hardly recognised you, looking so slender and fabulous! Very inspiring I must say. (note to self - call gym tomorrow!)
Lovely to meet you too Emelia and your very gorgeous and endearing dd. Ds2 was very impressed with all the biccies coming his way! Will definitely be up for another one soon.

PinkWebby · 02/02/2005 09:30

Hi I live in Herne Bay, Kent. I have two girls one is 21 months and the other is 6. My husband is away a lot as he is a submariner. I work kind of full time but I am available Friday afternoons after 3 and Monday afternoon after 3. I would love to meet other mothers from this area, as life has got a little bit lonely

Cadbury · 02/02/2005 09:43

Hi pinkwebby, nice to meet you, I'm in medway. We have had some meet ups in faversham recently and hope to again soon, if you are interested. There are a few mumsnetters living near you. I'll keep my eye out for them and point them in your direction when I see them .
