I have 1Ds and another one due in May. HAve just had weekend from hell as DH came down with food poisoning and DS came down with chest infection on the same day! Any sane converstion (or not so sane!) is welcome at the moment!!

But not on that subject for me please! I am the author of a couple of threads about my phobia for vomiting. I'm afraid it colours my whole life right now, including my confidence at meeting new people.

Anyway, Chichester is nice. Do you go to the theatre there at all? I have been going to it nearly all my life and took the kids there for the first time this summer.

I used to go but then moved away for a few years and since moving back have not got back into the habit.

All I will say on the non-mentionable subjest is poor you! You said kids - how many have you got?

I'm in Bognor every weekend, so if you do something then or at the beach in the summer, I'd like to meet (in fact in the holidays, I'm there Thursday to Sunday)

Ds is just coming up to 13 months, for some reason we thought it would be a good idea to have them close together. Now it is becoming a reality i am having second thoughts!

Puddytats, so yours will be about 18 months apart? That is the gap between my first two. It is a struggle in many ways, but it has its own rewards too.

Yes, snow, where are you during the week? Sounds good having two homes.

london, working hard......mon to wed and kids are at school in london, but my mum and dad are on coast in sussex so we bought a house to be near them and we are there most weekends and lots in the summer. Very lucky I know, but it really suits us - even though the M25 is a bit draining on a Friday after school.......

Sounds a lovely lifestyle to me, except your children must miss friends at the weekend or during the week, depending on where they have the most.

I can imagine! We moved back to East Wittering, just outside of Chichester, from Southampton about 6 months ago as we got fed up with being in a city. Very useful having a mum who is willing to help out!

I think I will look back and see it as rewarding - at the moment I am looking at it as plain silly!

Hubby works in Winchester so has a long commute every morning. Do not envy you the travelling. He has managed to change hours so he has wednesdays off which is nice

we try to make all the parties they are invited to, but often in the summer, we do 'hide' invites if they are for a saturday or sunday!!!but they have friends down there too, which is nice, because they are not school friends.

Haven't gone yet. I grew up in Winchester and my parents still live there. I long to live near there or Chichester or somewhere like that, but we are at the other end of WS and dh has just got a job in Kent so if we were to move, it would be east, not west.

DH decided he would rather commute and live by the sea than still live in Southampton, which suits me fine as I am a 2 minute walk from my mothers and a 10 minute walk from my older sisters!
