Lunch or drinks at Canary Wharf?

I keep waiting for someone to organise a "wharf rat" get together so that I can invite myself along. And they haven't.

So......

does anyone out here at the wharf want to meet up for lunch or a drink sometime?

Yes, yes, yes please.

I can do lunch Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (on a Weds I have ds with me, but he's reasonably well behaved). After work drinks also possible, but only if dh is available to do pickup.

not sure what's more likely to interfere with proceedings: demands of work (people not making it to lunch) or demands of childcare run (need to organise stuff in advance ruling out last minute spontaneity). But in the interests of getting this off the ground, I suggest lunch. Maybe Browns? (not too crowded, I'll be able to book a table, food unlikely to offend anyone, OK if people want/need to bring DCs).

not quite sure how to answer that . doubt that the stuff I do is interesting enough for work experience, but if he ever needs to do work experience somewhere by all means ask!

LOL at Jura getting all touchy, and we haven't even met yet. I'm not proud, you can invite as many as you like and I will still turn up and hang around the edges of the conversation trying to be one of the cool girls. (You can leave an all girls school, but the girls school never leaves you. )

bk hoi-polloi? surely not. We have critical mass, I feel, so Monday 3 March it is! Others welcome to join . I myself will be providing a co-ed comprehensive centre of gravity for you to hang out on the edges of, but have no pretensions of ever having been a cool girl.
