Lovely afternoon, thanks Browny. You could easily have enede up with 2 more in your house, permanently!

So, following on from our chat - where oh where are we going and what oh what are we doing on the 8th or 15th (TBC)?

All suggestions here, please...running out of time!

I am going to London for the weekend with dh for my birthday and DD is going to the new arena to watch Cbeebies with my mum.

Hello All!

Just popping in for a sec to wish everyone a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Sorry been absent for a while but after all the mad dashing round to Ireland/Sheffield, etc we've all been down with flu (I lost my voice for 2 days) and still not recovered. So a very quiet night in our house tonight...don't think I could have handled any kind of party. Hope you are all doing something a bit more exciting.

Ei - sorry can't do Sunday. One of J's little friends is having her party on Sun...at 2pm! Hope S has a lovely time.

Nemo - still have H's birthday pressie. Was hoping to have droppped it round at some stage but just been too ill. Will see you sometime soon, no doubt.

MD - hope you continue to be well.

Browny - we had a lovely (though ill!) Christmas. Isn't it great when all the effort you go to for presents is appreciated.

Anyway, ALL THE BEST IN 2008, one and all!

EI I am really sorry but we cant come to dds party as boiler men are coming on monday 7th..hence we are not having a party for dd2 as we now have to rip up laminate flooring in our bedroom and pull up the curtain in the hall, clear out boiler cupboard etc..going to be a bloody nightmare but worth it for thermostat..lol

Well dd1 is doing really well..today we have brought in the knickers and not single accident.

Happy New Year Everyone!

My brother proposed last night to his girlfriend... and she said "yes"! So I'm getting a sister-in-law.. I'm so happy for them both! They're going round to my dad's later on to tell him their news.

Jammy, sorry you've been ill, hope you all recover soon, I came down with a horrible virus a few days ago, wiped me out for a while, but am feeling better now. Kiddies managed to keep clear of all my nasty germs, so that was good. We had a neighbour in last night and her son, then my brother and his girlfriend came at 1.40 am! , they didn't leave until 5am, to say I'm knackered is putting it mildly.

Wow Browny - HUGE congratualtions to your brother and Sister-in-law to be. I know it's something that you never thought would be possible. So no wonder you were all up ubtil 5am! How are they going to work it out?

Finally been to the docs this am and started taking antiBs. Hoping they kick in soon as feeling really awful.

DH just taken DDs to birthday party next door. You should have seen his face...a cross between hard-done husband and terror! Wimp - it's not as if he doesn't get on with our neighbour He's asked me to ring on his work phone in half an hour but I may leave it a bit longer [evil] LOL!

Hi Jammy, hope the anti b's kick in soon, it's horrible feeling lousy when you've got little ones to keep happy.

I have no idea what sister-in-law to be is going to do, I know her sister is having an arranged marriage this year and she wants to wait until after that before she lets the brown stuff hit the fan.

How is everyone else doing????

We are venturing out with the newly potty trained dd1 tommorow..probably not 2 far but she has had 2 dry days in the house..lol Cant believe it is dd2s 1st birthday on saturday..where has the last year gone She has changed loads again and saying a couple of words like ta milk and egg [her teddy] oh and mama and dada. Might take her to acorn venture farm if the weather is nice. On monday people are coming to put in a new boiler but all kids are in nursery in the morning, however will have to find something for them to do in the afternoon so if anyone fancys meeting up at the park or the yellow sub etc then let me know.

Nemo, I'm up for meeting at the Yellow Sub, ds2 hasn't been there yet, I could get off at Brunswick train station, what time were you thinking of getting there? Your dd1 is doing so well, she's a clever girl!.

My dbrother hasn't told my dad yet, he was still suffering from a hangover yesterday and I've told him that he'd better tell him quick before my lot tell him, there's no way they'd be able to keep it a secret.
