Welcome to our new home Berrie, Zebedeedoodah, Oggsfrog and Binkleandflip.
Hope you all find your way here.

binkleandflip · 19/11/2007 09:21

oh, my post didnt all come out

was supposed to read like j-lo AND BERRIE.....

I'm sure you can, I just wish I still could

LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 09:24

So am I the only one rushing out to buy the album today?
Should I go to Oxford Street and queue with the hoi polloi for a signed copy

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 09:28

Just me then.

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 19/11/2007 10:01

Yes Lyra. You must. If I'd thought about it/ known well enough in advance I would have sent a cheque so you could get me one too .
So the songs seem okay (apart from Gonna Make You A Star)?
I'll probably pick it up when I next go shopping. I can't justify an almost 3hr return journey to get it specially.
Need to get my photo done for my driving licence too. Still haven't sorted out travel down there yet.

Berrie · 19/11/2007 10:05

Lyra...forget the album being signed...prepare five pictures and ask him to sign To Berrie, To Binkle, To Oggs, To Zeb, To Lyra...

LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 12:04

Decided not to go. It's too cold and wet. DS2 and I will stay in doing crafty things instead.

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 19/11/2007 13:30

did you miss me? Oh no, I think you didn't even notice with all this talk of ra-ra skirts and goth tendencies.

But I've rushed out and bought my cd from Woolies. It's now burning a hole in my coat pocket until I can stick it in the car cd for my drive home (beats Mika!).

And whatever else we thought of Children in Need & Strictly, he's looking damn hot these days!!!!

LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 13:37

I was just getting DS2 ready to go into town to buy my copy when it started bucketing down. I though 'I'm not going out in that' so now he's watching Scooby Doo while I try in vain to remove the biro scribble from my (unwaxed, unvarnished) living room coffee table with Flash and a scrubbing brush.

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 19/11/2007 13:39

What a little darling your DS2 is!

Anyone else see the Sunday Times interview? Very sweet, but his mother would be the mother-in-law from hell.

LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 13:43

No I missed it. DP did buy the Sunday Times but he took it to work with him and didn't bring it back in the evening

OP posts:
Berrie · 19/11/2007 13:45

I thought the same Zeb! Wonder what she thought of Kerry?

Berrie · 19/11/2007 13:46

He's a bit uptight isn't he?

Berrie · 19/11/2007 13:46

Aren't we all come to think of it...

LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 13:48

Why would she be the mother-in-law from hell?

OP posts:
binkleandflip · 19/11/2007 13:49

Was actually going to ask where you'd been Zeb, but then I thought to myself: "Binkle most normal people do have a RL with RL things to do"

So have you had it on yet? We need an urgent review!!

LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 13:50

Binkle, did you listen to the tasters on his site? There's five songs on there.

OP posts:
Berrie · 19/11/2007 13:51

They speak every day, she comes up every week to change his sheets. She is his best friend and he can tell her anything.

binkleandflip · 19/11/2007 13:54

oh no havent yet, are they good?

Watched his video on youtube again last night and I'm sure they could've done more with it, wasnt really enthralled by the sight of him opening his post whilst miming They could have really gone to town and made it cheerful and cheesy to match the song. Admit I didnt watch the last minute or so, so maybe I have missed some big build at the end?

Anyhow, some preening is in order, for I have begun my detox this very morn! I have had porridge, clear broccoli soup and cammomile tea so far today and let me tell you this is quite some departure from my usual menu choices Cant say I am overwhelmed at the thought of my meal tonight but the end justifies the means and all that....

binkleandflip · 19/11/2007 13:55

hey that sound likes me MIL

Well, she stopped changing the sheets when we got married at s'pose....but she still makes dh's lunch (on a tray!) every. single. day.

binkleandflip · 19/11/2007 13:56

I've turned into a cockney for some reason, talking about 'me' MIL and all that...

LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 13:56

Have a listen! They're on the www.leemeadmusic.co.uk site under audio.
So how did the reprogramming go? Do you now hate cake and biscuits?

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 19/11/2007 13:57

And she tells him exactly what she thinks, whether he likes it or not. Poor Kerry. How did she last so long?!

'fraid I can't do an urgent review - busy office and nowhere to hide. But I'll try to post later tonight if I can wind up my blackberry.

As for real life. Harrumph. DS had a non-specific viral rash and was grumpy as hell all weekend. It's a relief to be back at work frankly!

LyraSilvertongue · 19/11/2007 13:58

She sounds like a nightmare. No girl is good enough for my precious boy and all that. I suspect I'll be the same when my two are grown up

OP posts:
binkleandflip · 19/11/2007 14:01

I think the reprogramming is starting to kick in but the detox is more down to me being a bit run down at the moment and needing a boost. Besides, I'm starting to tone up a bit now from my gym sessions so I dont want to mess it all up by eating loads and I'm trying to get into the right headspace so I dont go bananas at Christmas and really sabotage my efforts!! (which is the usual scenario )

Berrie · 19/11/2007 14:04

You don't need to feel sorry for Kerry.
