well isn't it? Looks like we will be moving to Farringdon at Christmas so probably my last one...

I'll be happy to meet up in the new year and combine the meet up with my office visit when i bring baby to show the office etc.

I'd quite like to come to a city lunch - never managed it yet - I'll keep my eyes on thsi thread (if I may) and see what you decide on. If it's a thursday or friday I may well be able to come.

we haven't agreed terms on the new building yet but it's looking promising. I know Farringdon is still in teh city but I only theoreticlaly get 30 mins for lumch so I can leave at 5pm. I can stretch it occasionally to 1hr but relaly no more - trecking for Farringdon to Spittalfields and bad would take at least 30 mins so not really practical.

But I expect if the occasional lunch is over that side of the City then I still be game.

What month are we looking at - November?

well,I know a few nice lunch places in the western half of the city if people do fancy a change from liverpool street/spitalfields?

If we're sticking to Spitalfields, I'll just have to tinker with my diary so I'm seeing one of my Middlesex Street clients at 11am .

Smiths of Smithfield (near Farringdon) is very good Kewcumber. There can be a bit of a wait for a table on the ground floor bar area unless you go early or late, but the upper floors are bookable.

My office is close to Barbican station (but only until March when we move to London Bridge). I hardly ever eat out for lunch though because, like you, I want to be able to leave on time to do the nursery pick-up. I've never managed to do a city lunch, but I really should make the effort one day.

Can I come? I can do November too - Spitalfields fine (Jura, if you can do a decent impersonation of a private practice lawyer - I think I still can - we might be able to sneak onto a law firm shuttle.....
