EricGallagher · 01/08/2007 21:58

I might just want to get naked.

I get the urge sometimes

adorabelle · 01/08/2007 22:18

I'm female and planning on staying the night
at the hotel.
I'd love someone to room with, i'm female and getting married late December, I also like to sleep nude but i'm quite happy to wear my jim-jams if sleeping in the nuddy would offend

Seriously, I think this hotel is gonna have a pretty high room rate, i'm a (nearly) 31 yr old woman, wanting to meet all you other Mental m.netters, and the one's who have helped me along the line, Moondog, Hunkermunker,Greensleeves,TheBlonde,ExPatInScotland,Fran&Zooey etc so would really like
a response to someone whose up for sharing a room.

Otherwise i'm staying at home that night, posting how Pissed Off I am on M.Net cos none of you fuckers would room with me!

eleusis · 01/08/2007 22:23

You'll be so drunk you won't care where you sleep -- or with whom. But if your sleepin' in the nude, you won't be in my room!

I'd like expat to come too, but I doubt it's in her budget.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 01/08/2007 23:09

StarryStarryNight · 01/08/2007 23:51

SO, at the most recent MN meet, the coast guard was called in to help get all the COD that suddenly splashed about in a trendy London eatery back to the North Sea ....

we should maybe ALL go as Cod.

MarsLady · 02/08/2007 00:14

Nakedness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Garlands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like Bubble's kinda party!

Bunglie · 02/08/2007 00:35

Guess what.....no.....well I will confess to lurking! How dare you try and arrange a Christmas Mumsnet Party without sending me a personal invitation
PLEASE
PLEASE
PLEASE CAN I COME ?

Seriously though is it wheelchair friendly?
When and where is it again and who do I send some 'dosh' to?

Basically could you send me details with my personal gold edged invitation?

I WANT TO COME and if I can't I will lurk even more!

Just a short note to say I missed mumsnet but things got so 'heavy' that I went to the Caribean to work for a year and came home to a really crap life again but then what is new? I have finally managed to get back online but this old laptop thinks that if it doesn't 'crash' at least once a day I will get bored..... hmmm!

Fear not though dear mumsnetters I spent part of the day reading some of your recent threads which mention 'Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy' now called Fabricated illness. I am sorry to say that some of you really do need enlightening as to what the real situation is. Edam and Aloha your posts are spot on as usual

The big question I guess is DO YOU WANT A BUNGLIE BACK ?

hunkermunker · 02/08/2007 00:36

Hello, Bunglie! Yes, come back!

MarsLady · 02/08/2007 00:40

Welcome back Bunglie! When I go to do a reccy (party like it's 1999) I'll be sure to check wheelchair access!

hunkermunker · 02/08/2007 00:43

By "her wine" do you mean "mine" or "mine that you thought of as yours"?

I'll buy another scarf, howzat?

MarsLady · 02/08/2007 00:47

hunkermunker · 02/08/2007 00:49

MarsLady · 02/08/2007 01:01

VeniVidiVickiQV · 02/08/2007 01:36

so have i....

Flamestorm · 02/08/2007 08:34

I wondered where you'd gone to Bunglie!

Beetroot · 02/08/2007 09:43

Both of these venues (linked below) would charge £100 hire and £1000 minimum spend

Both of them have all the facilities we require, pay bar, dancing, edible food. As the room would be self contained it would not have a separate area where you would not hear the music. Theodore Bullfrog has the downstairs
bar where people could go if they wanted to talk.

A venue that might be more suitable is Ochre, this is in St. Pauls and you can hire the whole venue for £1500 minimum spend and no hire. This also has a small separate room which would be better for your party.
here

Beetroot · 02/08/2007 10:09

have asked for buffet prices

CountessDracula · 02/08/2007 10:16

ochre looks great
it has excellent reviews too here

Would we get the whole place>?
It says downstairs room only for 40
