Well, following the wonderful success of our last meetup, lets try another park.....

Oh.... meant to say that it will be just the two of us going... no kiddies. It will be the first time since dd1 was born that we'll be totally alone together, that's over 11 years, so you can assume that I'm really excited and can't wait to go!

Hello everyone. Happy beated birthday to Browny's DS2 and Rachfran (maisiedaisy) DD. Of course 2 such beautiful DCs would be born on the same day. Hope you all had a lovely time.
Well we're all worn out from holiday here. It was fab though I don't think we'd do the all inclusive thing again. Got a bit busy...
Both DDs seem to have had a growth spurt. Must be something in the Spanish water.

I'm away with work (booo!) wed-fri next week so I could tag along with anything on Mon/Tues.

Anyone doing anything today or tommorow??? Am soo bored and need to get out but feel completely uninspired!!!

Aww did you have a fab time Jaamy??? I am up for a meet up anytime although A has SALT on mon at 11.30 which usually takes an hour or so which means tues wed are probably better days for me..or both!!!

Well, I'm off with my dh at lunchtime today, going for two blissful nights in a lovely hotel in the Lake District.... with no kiddies! The babysitting sounds like some sort of military time-table, with even three changes of shifts!! I'm a little worried about ds2, but I'm sure my dbrother will keep him happy. Oooohhhh, I'm so excited... no cooking or washing dishes or acting as a referee to four noisy children for two whole nights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Does Tuesday suit most people? We can do tues.

Fine here A is in playgroup but only until 11.30 or can collect him earlier if we are going somewhere further afield.

Well depends there are the same old like the parks etc or we could be adventerous and go to a farm or something? There is the acorn venture farm, farmer teds, there is a new play thing on otterspool, there are indoor plays but maybe one in town theres a new one called yellow submarine. Would say the belle vale one but its no good for little toddlers only from As age really.Museum? Ermmm will keep thinking

Never been to Acorn Venture Farm or Farmer Ted's. To be honest I am happy to go anywhere - see what others want to do

farmer teds is ok either way as it has the indoor play thing and the outdoor. Animals all under cover??? Thats if you want to go there..lol

Hiya!! Arrived home this evening to a surprise party in our house, everyone ran out of the conservatory to shouts of "surprise". My dbrother, his girlfriend and my cousin had prepared an amazing buffet and popped a bottle of pink bubbly for me. Kiddies gave me my home-made cards early (my birthday's not until Tue), because my eldest dd is going away on a school trip until Wednesday so she won't be here on my birthday.

The hotel was huge, so posh and fantastic!! We loved every minute of it, it did feel really strange being without the gang but I felt like a new woman.... relaxed!.

Thought I'd better let you all know in case you were thinking of going to Farmers Teds, it is CLOSED every Tuesday. We found that out a few weeks ago and poor little ds2's was so disappointed. Hope you all have a lovely time, we are going to take ds2 somewhere for the day and then we're going for a family meal in the evening .

So much for me being decisive!

Vaguely remember Farmer Teds being open tues during hols...off to check website!

Website says "Closed on Tuesdays, during termtime". Now, I know some schools are still off this week, though most have gone back so don't know whether it will be closed.

Anyone willing to wait until 10 am tomorrow for me to phone and check or do we just make it Acorn Venture park if weather good?

I will wait as Adam is in playgroup. Thought if we meet at 11.30-12ish as usual then gives plenty of time doesnt it...that way will pick adam up early but still gets him out all day..lol
