I'm on extended mat leave so most times suit me, although Tues ams not good. Any suggestions on where to meet? I'm not too familiar with Swindon so it needs to be idiot proof to find!

I dunno I've only lived here 9 months, so I'm not all that great on that sort of thing either... the only place I can think of that you can't miss is the Outlet Vilage, but it's really only got a Starbucks (but it does look out on the play area) in terms of places to sit and chat. Maybe cuppy has some ideas...

Hello - yes I suppose it depends what we all want to do.

Outlet Village is ok, but will it keep the kiddies happy long enough - theres only the play area and the shops?

Lydiard park is nice... ball games and picnics??

Coate water - outdoor?

Space adventure/jolly Roger - indoor softplay/etc - depends on ages I suppose. But at least we could do this whatever the weather.
Im going to take a look on other threads to see where the other mn's meet up - pinch some ideas.

Some good suggestions cuppy, are you free on during the day on weekdays? I'm assuming that we're talking about a meetup with kids... mine are 1.75 and 3.5 so they need entertaining and supervision, there is a creche at outlet village, but I think (if I remember correctly) your dc woudl be too young for that?

Can I join in too?! Can only do Thursdays or Fridays though, so don't worry if not convenient!

Yes Xos dd is only 4.5 mths so couldnt go in the creche.

I guess also it depends how long we want to meet for . Somewhere like space adventure the kids could have lunch too as well as a play.

I go back to work 5ht july so can only do thurs and fridays too. Happy MUmmy1 is also local - ill get her to come.
