Wow! We filled a thread!

Hope you all find this new one!

Our evening was great, had a lovely time. kids were all very well behaved. dd sleeping in our bedroom is a nightmare tho - she's sooo noisy!

we need a 3rd bedroom

we're off for Sunday lunch at The Botanist later YUM!

2cute, we're scheduled to have skids that weekend but not confirmed yet. if we do, not sure if i could come and don't want to invite 2 extra kids and dh as that'd be rather cheeky! if we don't then we'll be there

it's far too early for a Sunday!

Paddle - ooh what shall we do? the world is our oyster tomorrow!!

pudding77 · 20/02/2007 21:43

Paddle, BC is always enough to exhaust me!

foxabout2pop · 20/02/2007 21:52

Can't do link but there is a bog article on Super Head Lice in the Daily Mail!! Will be on their wwwsite

Paddle/SFX are you still itchy?

Am going to treat the DCs again tomorrow morning with conditioner and comb

sfxmum · 20/02/2007 22:25

will you leave it with the lice woman

might pop along to kew tomorrow but not sure what time will just see how it goes both dd and i have been sneezing today so i am hoping it is just my lack of housekeeping skills and not a bug

hope you all hav a quiet night

xoxo · 21/02/2007 07:42

Morning all.
allergies, lice, pox - what delightful bunch
I have 2 big burly men here today changing rooms around. am sadly a bit excited about it and see it as a poor consololation prize for not moving to Dorset.
Enjoy Kew PC & Foxy.
Enjoy yr spreadshhet SJ.
Hello to all

foxabout2pop · 21/02/2007 07:43

SFX - LOL at your dusty abode!

Morning all..

DH and I had a massive row again last night. He's just being incredibly unhelpful and obtuse atm. Just when I need him to be supportive and take charge

Considering taking a contract out....

Pads/SFX We're around all day once I've de-loused us all this morning. Hoping to have a nice leisurely morning and then get out later.

...wish I could de-louse my life generally....

foxabout2pop · 21/02/2007 07:45

Oxo - x posts with you - good morning!!

I think its exciting rearranging rooms etc - feels like a new home but with out the solicitors/removal van fees

Are either of you men available for back massage, foot massage or sex?

Paddlechick666 · 21/02/2007 07:52

oi! if there's any sex going i'm first!

foxie, now I may be about to buck the trend here but..........

your dh is petrified and has no clue what to do! being a bloke he doesn't realise that just "being available" and supportive is all he needs to do.

from his perspective the person he loves is exhausted and uncomfortable and facing a very scary experience (men are very frightened of birth) so on that score he's very concerned for you - but can't show it because he knows he's supposed to be the strong one!

and then, once you've given birth he's got a whole new cub plus mummy to add to his list of responsibilities!

quite literally - he's shittin it and has no idea what to do for the best right now.

doesn't help you tho - sorry!

I am still itching but it's random and only when I read this thread so still think I have nothing.

Got some food shopping to do then need to pop up to West Middx to drop off a scan request then I'm free........

HI Foxy
Is yr dh worried about impending new babe? Or is he always like this?

My dh got v moody towards teh birth of dd: he finally told em he was panicking about money and being able to afford having baby No2 in London. being the loving caring wifey I am, I bollocked him out - bit bloody late by then, wasn't it

It all changed when new baby came along and he saw how beautiful she is and how ds took to her.

he still panicks (hence Dorset!) but he always will. It's the hunter gatherer mentality. I think it's only eased up very slightly this week with my first paycheque.

Men, huh!

ps will check foot massages, but am more interested in them moving bloody big wardrobes

xoxo · 21/02/2007 07:57

snap, paddle (and good morning!)

Paddlechick666 · 21/02/2007 07:59

Paddlechick666 · 21/02/2007 08:00

morning Oxo.

when they're finished send 'em over here i'm sure i've got plenty of heavy stuff for them to shift with their shirts off......

OP posts:
xoxo · 21/02/2007 08:02

OMG - you two have doomed me: they are going to be trogs rather than diet coke men now

xoxo · 21/02/2007 08:03

... so am not even going to shower

foxabout2pop · 21/02/2007 08:11

Oxo - yeah don't tire them out too much will you

Paddle/Oxo - you may be right. But the problem atm is he seems disengaged from the whole process. He didn't particularly want a No3 and I think would have preferred a girl. He just doesn't seem to realise he needs to be on standby (i.e. be contactable, sort his paternity leave out etc) and also give me a bit of slack.

Its also my hormones, as everything he does atm just seems to irritate me. So, yes, I am quite difficult to live with and he's probably sick to death of having to tippy toe round Mrs grumpy day after day.

Sometimes I just wish he'd go away!

Paddlechick666 · 21/02/2007 08:15

Foxie, I'll give him my DH's number and they can entertain each other!

OP posts:
sfxmum · 21/02/2007 08:38

morning all

foxie fights let off steam too, i guess his impending retirement is not helping.
men are odd creatures, mine often talks to himself so occasionally i get clues as to what is going on in that brain oh his, lovely though he is

xoxo - the men who did my moving were very very dishy and young except their boss who was middle age handsome bit of pot belly

off to kew at around 11 i think tire out this little poppet of mine

Paddlechick666 · 21/02/2007 09:03

well, i just made my own humous.

the child screamed all the way thru the blending process - she's not going to like the dentist I fear!

and then she gagged when she tried it.

ungrateful little madam!!

lol

Hi Sue, hope work goes ok today and D OK with childminder. It will get much easier once you get into the swing of things which doesn't take long, so hope you are not too stressed. Am back at work today so v jealous of all you lovely people who are sashaying around Kew Gdns. Foxie, can you sashay in your condition?

foxabout2pop · 21/02/2007 09:05

Bunyan - no but I do an impressive hippo like waddle atm!!

You back at work then?

Paddlechick666 · 21/02/2007 09:54

this child is driving me mental.

utterly utterly mental

OP posts:
foxabout2pop · 21/02/2007 10:17

Paddle - Surely not?

suejonez · 21/02/2007 10:17

D drove me nuts yesterday - he has learnt the "eeerrrrrrr eeeeeee uuuuuuuuu" and arms up pathetically to be picked up ALREADY - OK which one of you taught him that?

foxabout2pop · 21/02/2007 10:17

Paddle - Surely not?

suejonez · 21/02/2007 10:20

what did you put in it Paddle - just follow the list of ingredients on the side of the M&S packet!

I tin chick peas
Generous helping of lemon juice
Oil to taste
Pile of garlic - 2 cloves (or less if you prefer)

Blend

I put little oil in but the correct recipe is lots more oil than I use and less lemon juice. Don't use all olive oil as I think its too strong - use veggie oil with a splash of olive
