I am almost 32, but not quite! I used to be the young mum at school, coz I had dd at 24 and they were all oldies but once ds starts school I will as old as the other oldies...boo hoo

Hanlou007 · 27/01/2007 21:41

Oi i have just turned 32...Am i really that old ??

Auntie mable was Janes mum in eastenders when she was going to marry Ian....I am soooo sad...
Plus even my hubby says he has seen the pencil one.

gingermonkey · 27/01/2007 21:48

Ha ha, you old git!!!!! I hit 32 in march, I quite like being in my 30s actually, but had a proper trauma when I was coming up to 30, thought the world was going to end! Aunty Mabel has got around, hasn't she? She must be nearly 90 now

PhoenixGirl · 27/01/2007 21:49

I'm dreading Lewis getting into c beebies. I can't stand any of the programmes it does my head in when i go to my mates

OP posts:
gingermonkey · 27/01/2007 21:53

parental controls - just make cbeebies need a pin to watch, tell him it's for grown ups and is very very rude (then he will never know it exists)

PhoenixGirl · 27/01/2007 21:59

Saying that i did put Tweenies on the other day and while the music bits were on he stopped what he was doin and watched it and kept laughing.

Something like cartoon network i could cope with but c beebies is bloody annoying

I love nick jr, I want to be able to jump around like Sporticus and do back flips. That man is so damn fit (not sexy fit tho, that's wrong!!!!)

PhoenixGirl · 27/01/2007 22:09

Never watched it but heard about it from friends. I think i could watch certain programmes but it's the presenters that realy get on my nerves. Especially when they're dancing and singing. YOU ARE ADULTS FGS!!!!!

OP posts:
PhoenixGirl · 27/01/2007 22:10

But then again i could dump him in front of the tv and come on mn more

OP posts:
gingermonkey · 27/01/2007 22:17

shit....forgot to put ds to bed, he's still watching telly!!!

Hanlou007 · 27/01/2007 22:27

Problem we have now is that DD1 can work the dvd player and know how to put her own on....

We only have freeview since we moved here....

BUT SHOULD BE GETTING SKY SOON

thethirdwisemonkey · 27/01/2007 22:34

Shut up you lot and show some respect for your elders, I'm ahem, 37 !!!!!!!!
Yes Phoenix I changed from a thirdwisewoman to a monkey, can you see what I did there? I remember nurse Gladys a friend of mine told me a little tale about Linda Barron, but I'm not repeating it on here, in case I get libelled (sp?)

gingermonkey · 27/01/2007 22:35

oh Hanlou, how awful, that is actually something you can cite in a divorce - it is technically neglect you know, not providing a sahm with sky (and tbh sky+ so she can use live pause) is as bad as not providing food and shelter.

gingermonkey · 27/01/2007 22:36

wisemonkey, do you have a bus pass

PhoenixGirl · 27/01/2007 22:39

Oh yes sky+ is fab

OP posts:
thethirdwisemonkey · 27/01/2007 22:41

ginge - I don't need a buss pass cos I've got one of those little mobility scooters complete with tartan shopping bag and small yorkshire terrier.

gingermonkey · 27/01/2007 22:44

Ah, wisemonkey, I have seen you belting it down the road in Flockton - next time I'll stop and say hello!

gingermonkey · 27/01/2007 23:07

Am I the only saddo still up???

PhoenixGirl · 27/01/2007 23:15

OP posts:
PhoenixGirl · 27/01/2007 23:19

OP posts:
PhoenixGirl · 27/01/2007 23:23

OP posts:
gingermonkey · 27/01/2007 23:26

My ds was up at 5, then went back to sleep for an hour and then was full of beans at 6. (I gave him to dh tho and went back to bed til 7). Dh is in London tonight on a stag do so have been feeling all lonesome! Have done the washing though and took the kids to TGI fridays for tea. Thought about doing some ironing, but after ironing the pleats in dd's school skirt I have had just about enough and can't be arsed anymore!
