Me cheeky never....Its a sign of old age forgetting stuff....

Bloody DDs have been poorly again...they just cant shake this bug.

NbgsYellowFeathers · 07/02/2007 09:41

Hiya ladies.
Pheonix, I would stay away from Funworld or go at a very quiet time.
Its only small and the little ball pool they have, I find that they get stuck in there I fished dd out on more than one occasion!

Have you all been to the one at Elsecar? Its fantastic. They have a seperate area for younger ones and they do good food too.

gingermonkey · 07/02/2007 09:49

I still haven't remembered, I am getting old and forgetful (and I find spelling a problem now which I never used to!) Do you fancy Looby Lou's music and dance class in Denby Dale with Boobara? She still has places on the 10.45 Monday morning slot (and the first ones free so you don't have to go again!!!) There's an ad on netmums kirklees with the phone number if you fancy coming along. Sarahhal says it's a bit rubbish but I'm hoping for the best!

Hanlou007 · 07/02/2007 10:16

I have just rung and i am in...26th feb 10:45..Plus leave my friend Barbara alone....she sounds very nice.

sarahhal · 07/02/2007 10:47

stamp feet stamp feet. I know I said it wasn't all that good but I really really want to come and play This full time working lark has lost its novelty and I'm a bit at the mo. Really shouldn't be on MN when I'm meant to be marking and now I'm in a really bad mood and a bit teary Hormones and stress after DSes fit I think -not sleeping too well as in checking him every hour in a panic!

When you have been to Boobara's class, let me tell you which song William requested at the bit at the end when you sit in a circle and all sing-a-long-together

sarahhal · 07/02/2007 10:49

And I have misused an apostrophe and I should know better!

After DS's or is it DS' fit - in other words, they both didn't have one thank god!!!

ramble ramble ramble

thethirdwisemonkey · 07/02/2007 12:50

yay the monkeys will take over Boobaras class!! I hope it isn't too exciting as my mate is 8 months pregnant wouldn't want any accidents. Looks like ds is starting with this grotty cold/virus thing that I 've had for bloody ages, however hopefully he'll be ok tomorrow. Will keep you posted.

thethirdwisemonkey · 07/02/2007 12:52

PS On the 26th I'll have to chant all the way there, don't call her boobara, don't call her boobara ...........

StinkyPete · 07/02/2007 14:30

sarah - just read all about your ds - how shocking. hope all continues to be well.

who was asking about funland in Mapp? - if you've not been for a bit, try it again. it's under new management and i thought it was a lot better. there's not too much for non-walking babes imo, but a little ball pool etc..
stinky

gingermonkey · 07/02/2007 16:52

Hanlou, great, we will take over the music class! Poor Boobara, I hope I don't get a fit of giggles when she says her name and I will not look at the wisemonkey at all! She does sound very nice, I hope the monkey behaves he's only interested in wind the bobbin up at the minute (which he can do the actions to) or playing football with daddy outside (all day, every day - even in this cold weather and he's only wearing a vest, silly boy!)

PhoenixGirl · 07/02/2007 17:15

Thanks NBG, i've seen trace2 today an she said exactly the same about Funworld and also recommended Elsecar so we're gonna try that. It's for Lewis' 1st Birthday can u believe it. How r u and yours? I lurk on your post natal thread occasionally to read how ds is doin .

My house smells of fish tonight, I had fish pie for dinner and it stinks now, burning a candle isn't helping either. DH is allergic to fish (proper allergic too, violently ill) and the smell is upsetting him.

I'm interesting, aren't I?!

PhoenixGirl · 07/02/2007 20:17

And now I am going to reload the dishwasher, put some washing on, take some out of the drier and reload that too. What an exciting life I have!

Hanlou007 · 07/02/2007 21:02

Got my nappies in the machine and cant be arsed to do anything else....lazy cow....

Seaching the net for some pretty nappies

gingermonkey · 07/02/2007 21:09

I've got to do a bit of ironing in a bit. (yes, I'm at it again!)There's a never ending pile of laundry in my house and it makes me very grumpy

PhoenixGirl · 07/02/2007 21:14

I just found this website its quite interesting. Its for barnsley but maybe u could put different areas in, i haven't looked.

OP posts:
Hanlou007 · 07/02/2007 21:17

My ironing is staying put tonight..

PhoenixGirl have you tried your nappies yet?

gingermonkey · 07/02/2007 21:26

Kirklees has only one thing advertised but Wakey has a few, Barnsley has loads going on!!!!! I want to take DS to a tumble tots type of thing. I think I'll have a good look through (and try and figure out where everything is!)

PhoenixGirl · 07/02/2007 21:29

Yes tried nappies hanlou and put an order in for another 6 yesterday that'll be 8 altogether. dh still isn't convinced but he put lewis one on today without me asking him.

Hanlou007 · 07/02/2007 21:35

My DH loves them but gets confused as i have a lot of different ones. Have you been on any of the WAHM sites? They have lovely ones.

I am also into wool longies. Have ordered some really cute ones from the US.

Ginger there ia a tumble tots in holmbridge just past Holmfirth. I started but got bored, i think it was to many years of having to take children when i nannied.

NbgsYellowFeathers · 07/02/2007 21:35

I know phoenix. I cant believe he's going to be one!
It only seem like yesterday when I saw you with your bump
I was only saying today the ds is half a year old in a few days . Its bloomin scary how quickly it goes.
Ellis is fine thanks. Not particularly enjoying being weaned, likes to feed himself lol.
M has chicken pox atm, so we're under house arrest!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy Elsecar. Its great and much calmer than funworld.
Say hi to trace for me. I sent her a text a couple of weeks back but i think i have an old number of hers so she may not have got it.
