Not in Hampstead, but Islington with a ds of 17m (and older dd).
Keep an eye on North London meet ups as there are a lot of us in various parts, including Highgate, Crouch End Muswell Hill, Highbury...
Maybe see you at one of the get-togethers. Its hard isn't it being new to an area?

Hi onlineid, I live in Hampstead and have DD of 20mths and DS of 7mths. Should be meeting Davros and Maomao for the first time some time this week. I have Davros' tel number and will be calling her tomorrow to arrange something. Shall let you know when and where and you can join us if convenient for you.

maomao · 24/05/2004 08:18

Hullo onlineid,

Whereabouts in Hampstead are you? As mentioned here, I am in Hampstead too, and I also have no car! I have a dd of 12 months, and she loves meeting other children. Would love to get together sometime, as I'm a SAHM and not half as busy as Davros. You can contact me thru "contact another talker," if you'd like!

As Chicpea says, we're hoping to get together later this week, maybe Thursday (naptimes willing)?

Some things to do: there is a M&T group at the Community Centre (around 10 a.m., I think.) Have you looked into that? We don't go there because I think most of the children there are older, say, 18 months or so. There's also Rhyme Time at the library on Mondays at 10:30, but it gets quite crowded when it rains. There's the playground on Downshire Hill, which I tend to go to almost any day that isn't raining, as does pollyanna. Pollyanna also wrote of a music class at the Royal Free on Fridays, which I must ask her about when I meet her!

ChicPea, got your phone message today. Haven't had time to look at One O'Clock Club thread yet but maybe we could all meet at the Downshire Hill playground at 2pm this Thurs? How about you Onlineid and Maomao? If not, then at the One O'Clock Club, depending on what the other thread says, either is OK by me. I could make it a little earlier too if anyone wants to. I hvae to be home by 4pm because of DS coming home from school. See you all on this thread, on the phone and will check OO'CC thread....

maomao · 24/05/2004 19:24

Davros, sorry about the crap answering machine! Downshire Hill on Thursday sounds great to me. Would love to hook up a little before 2 p.m., if you have time, as it'd be nice to see you for a little longer! Will try and ring you later tonight.

maomao · 24/05/2004 19:50

Davros, my sweet, are you supposed to be at Brent Cross on Thursday at 2 p.m.??? (See Brent Cross meetup, pls!)

Davros · 24/05/2004 20:08

nooooooo, I was not on that list earlier today! Have just posted to say include me out!

maomao · 24/05/2004 20:09

Yah, right. Sure. BTW, just rang you, and am now looking in to BT Messageminder.

ChicPea · 24/05/2004 20:15

Hi Y'all! Will definitely be at playground on Thursday at 2pm. So is that four of us: Davros, Maomao, Onlineid and Me? For some reason I always thought the playground was part of the pub!!

maomao · 24/05/2004 20:19

LOL ChicPea!

maomao · 24/05/2004 22:02

Okay, thus far it's me, ChicPea, and Davros, meeting around 2-ish on Thursday at the Downshire Hill playground. (Onlineid and pollyanna can't make Thursdays.) Is Downshire HIll convenient enough for everyone? Am happy to go somewhere else if it's better for you.

Davros · 24/05/2004 22:29

The pub sounds good now...... no seriously, will phone you both tomorrow to confirm

Onlinwid, look at zoo thread, you might want to look up "We're going to the zoo!" thread. Do you want to join us on 2 July??

ChicPea · 10/06/2004 23:33

Sorry, I meant to say:

Onlineid, you might want to look up "We're going to Regent's Park zoo" thread so that you can join us. We're going on 2nd of July. Where in Hampstead are you?

Hi. I've just moved back to Hampstead. My son is 12mos, and we'd love to join you if you are still meeting...?

suzywong · 27/08/2004 16:17

Mao Mao and Davros, pluck a blade of grass and have a 99 from the icecream van in memory of the happy times I spent on the Heath with my boys

Apart from that time DS1 legged it out of the paddling pool - remember!

Hope you all have a fine time

maomao · 27/08/2004 16:20

Ahhhh, sw, how are you??? I saw hoxtonchick last week!

Hullo heron, as suzy says, Davros and I are around, and we each have dds over a year old.

suzywong · 27/08/2004 16:21
