ANYONE IN SOUTHPORT OR THE SURROUNDING AREAS?

Hello!

I am in Southport, have a 7 year old DS and a 16 month old DD, am a SAHM., but hoping to start working as a doula !!

would like very much to meet up with any other mums in the area....for a coffee or at a soft play place , whatever works best !! probably after Xmas now, as things seem very hectic at the moment !

hope there are some other sandgrounders out there xxxx

Not there now, but lived there from 0 - 18. My sister still lives there with a 7 year old dd and a baby due in Feb.

dsis used to always be in the Fox & Goose, I had more class, and used to frequent the Kingsway (I'm talking 15-20 years ago now)

I lived there for a year as a student in the early 1990's, can't remember much about it apart from feeding the ducks in Hesketh park and it was always sunny!

My sister is a lurker, not a poster. Or at least that's what she tells me.

What school does your ds go to (you can give me initials if you prefer - I'd probably be able to work it out!).

Her dd goes to one with a purple uniform (does that narrow it down?). Me, her and our dbro all went there and her dd had the same reception teacher we all had...brown uniform in those days tho

i too feed the ducks...but it has not been sunny lately !!

DS goes to the school with blue & yellow...not sure about the purple one !!

borught up in manchester, you see, but lived here nearly 10 yers...still learning my way round!!

sorry, been away too long to know uniform colours (apart from my dniece's). Her school begins with an 'L' - on the edge of Birkdale, does that help? (is this getting too hard? lol!).

I love Southport, life has taken me away, but it has a special place in my heart. A lot of my family are still there, so we visit 2-3 times a year.

Oh, and I love Rossi's ice cream. Best in the world.

Oooh, I know. My dad doesn't live far from there. Near Botanic Gardens? (Lovely park - I go running there when I'm in the 'Port)

Hi Lulumama. I lived in Southport all my life until I got married and moved to Yorkshire. My parents live near you I think. Will be round there at Christmas but only for one night. I'd like to move back there but I think it would be too near my parents for DH!

from Southport (train line) its one stop before the Bootle Strand

i dont know Southport that well as im originally from the Wirral so im still learning!
