looking for friends in west London (near heathrow airport)

hello. I am looking for people to talk to/meet up with in West London, I am from hounslow myself. but know the surrounding areas feltham, brentford, chiswick ect.. I have lived here for 2 years now and dont really have any friends here, i would love to meet other mums with small children as I have a 2 year old boy and it would be great for him to have some friends also. get in touch if you want to chat

will do my best to be on time with my dd 17 mths in a blue pushchair, and I am chinese with black hair so unless there are a lot of chinese mums in the area you should be able to spot me fairly easily!!!! Looking forward to meeting adults!

I might not be able to make it after all ..if I can manage it I'll be the short dumpy dark-haired and speccy mum with my 3yr old ds and baby dd in a blue double 3 wheeler.

hi ladies, am not going to be able to make it today, im 32 wks pregs and my waters started to trickle last night, am now just waiting for my parents to turn up and look after my other two so me and partner can go down hos!
im gutted i cant meet you all, so hopefully another time!

Hi All...
Not sure if DD and me can make it today.. she has only just gone down for her first nap..
Which usually lasts about 2 hours and then I need to feed her..
If she is up and about then I will come to see you all..
I know Jane313 so I am sure I will find you all..
Hope you all have a lovely time if I cannot make it..

Had a lovely time, me, alison and yingers (whom I had met before) and offspring. It was a nice place with animals, a playground, a cafe and a maze which we didn't get to as all the kids were a bit hot and tired. Also lots of nice parkland around it. I'll definitely go back.

Did you meet up folks? I live in Isleworth adn woudl love to join in to any future events around here. I work, but can be a bit flexible. We're expecting our first in a few months, and am really keen to meet some other mums for advice/chat etc. No family here as I am from Scotland, and I didn't really notice this before I got pregnant, guess I was so busy with work etc....

How do I find the local threads that I have heard people referring to?

I live in Hounslow/Whitton borders too. Not too far from mini roundabout near Southwestern pub. Our nearest park is Murray Park.
I have 3 yr old and 15 month old.
I work 4 days a week but it would be nice to sometimes meet up with other mums in local area. My kids go to nursery but it would be great for them to play with other children outside nursery.
Not around much this month as we're off to Devon on 11th for 2 weeks but it would be nice to meet up some time.

Small world MY local park is Murray Park too. In fact was there this afternoon! I live a bit nearer to the the Rugby ground than you. What days do you work? I work Mon and Tues.
My DD is 3 years and DS is 10 months.

I work Mon-Thurs so Fridays or w/end are good for us. Lucky you only working 2 days; my company found 3 days an inconvenience and it got upped to 4 in the end.

Poor old you. Luckily another girl was on maternity leave same time as me and we are now job sharing. My first week next week - after a few weeks of sorting ourselves out I am hoping it will be much easier than full time which is what I have been doing. Is it OK if I contact you via mumsnet?

I also tried and have had a message to say you don't want to be contacted too! Have fiddled with my settings and unclicked a box or two, so try me again! Not sure if it will work or not. If not does anyone know how to stop this happening?????
