Is this the right place , where it says "zoo"? Is it easier to approach it from Ruislip Rd/Greenford Ave or the Iron Bridge way?

Can't make this week or next, but how about July 26, 27, 28th at 12pm? We are meeting near Watford on the 23rd here if anyone can make it.

Rohey · 17/07/2004 14:58

Hi karen..

That's the place..
I usually get there from Greenford Road and past the hospital and it's the 4th turning on the left after the iron bridge...
The weather is not looking to good for this week..
So when do we arrange this for?

jane313 · 17/07/2004 22:25

I could do 26th or 28th

karen99 · 18/07/2004 01:01

Hi Jane313

unicorn · 18/07/2004 15:00

hello (interloper from the Ealing thread here)
Have you a date/time set up yet?
Kids break up next week..
I may be able to make it, if afternoonish with dd-(5yrs) and ds (2).

jane313 · 18/07/2004 22:24

hi karen, what about wed 28th then we could post that on the ealing thread as one of the posters there could make it on wednesdays.

I've never been there but I would prefer to make it 12.30 so I can feed him first unless theres somewhere there to feed then. Or we just have a picnic if its nice?

bluebear · 20/07/2004 13:16

Is this happening??
12.30 on Wednesday....Anyone?

alison222 · 20/07/2004 13:57

Hi, Wed 28th sounds good - weather permitting as there is no-where inside except a tiny cafe if it rains.
I can be there with DS(3.5) an DD(17m)pretty much anytime

jane313 · 20/07/2004 14:50

I can make that

bluebear · 20/07/2004 15:54

I can make it if the mum I'm planning to see tomorrow has no objections - I've got a 3 year old ds and a 9 month old dd - you'll recognise me by the weird double decker buggy

bluebear · 20/07/2004 15:59

I meant 28th not tomorrow - I need sleep!

shelly121 · 21/07/2004 10:16

12.30 nxt wed sounds good, were will we all meet?
shell xxxx

jane313 · 21/07/2004 19:46

I haven't been there so don't know any landmarks. Is there a ticket office or a specific animal we could meet by?

yingers74 · 21/07/2004 23:00

hello! this is the message I posted on ealing/acton thread:

Hello, I should be able to make 28th although I have NO IDEA where bunny park is(yes I realise that is a bit sad) and how to get there! I am also an ealing 135 member as well as NCT. And jane313 it would indeed be weird if we have met before.
Alternative suggestions for meet ups would be August 15th which I think is a Sunday at the london mela at gunnersbury park, there will be kiddie activities. Or Sat 31st july at walpole park, where there will be a pic n mix event, again plenty for kids. both events are 2 until 6 i think!
oh i had a lovely time in devon btw.

jane313 · 22/07/2004 08:05

ok so we have

Wed 28th July 12.30pm bunny park

(some links have been posted about how to get there I think)
by the bunnies perhaps? Or are there too many of them?

I can't make either of those other two dates because I'm away

shelly121 · 22/07/2004 11:15

morning everyone, how about the coffee bar/ cafe for meeting, its easy to find and oppisit the kids playground!

yingers74 · 22/07/2004 15:58

Hello and afternoon all,
having taken a look at map, i think the e3 near my house goes to hanwell station which is close by. which entrance should i aim for and will there be signs for the coffee bar/kids playground? I am rather good at getting lost! if you don't see me you can safely assume this is what has happened to me!!!!
Is anyone interested in the other dates i mentioned?

LittleMissScatterbrain · 22/07/2004 20:55

Hi All, just to confirm, we should be able to make the 28th at 12:30 (me (aka karen99, just changed my name) and ds 13mo).

I think it is here on the map. You can see Hanwell station on the right, but I'm not sure how much of a walk it is to the 'zoo/church'.

Where is the cafe/kids playground? Where the arrow is?

alison222 · 22/07/2004 21:28

just posted directins on the other ealing thread. Sorry can't do links. Its about a 10 min walk from the bus stop depending on how fast you walk

alison222 · 22/07/2004 21:30

Oh and the cafe is pretty well where it says WC

Rohey · 23/07/2004 14:10

Hi all..

Definitely up for bunny park..
12.30 inside the park entrance or by the church??
It's quite a distance from the main road and you have to walk down to the end of the road...
Hope to see you all there..
Ciao for now..
Hope the weather is as good as it is today

LittleMissScatterbrain · 26/07/2004 11:43

Arrghh! Sorry girls.. I now can't make the 28th! I thought ds' music class finished last Wed. but we've actually got one more this Wed. and as they're pre-paid we'd best go. It should finish at 12:30 so depending on how long you think you'll be at the park we can come down later. It will take me about 30mins or so to get there though.

What do you think? How long will people stay? Could be there by 1:30pm.. [not knowing what the park is like I'm not sure how 'entertaining' it is for the little ones]

alison222 · 26/07/2004 14:55

Just inside the entrance or at the cafe ? as its a road outside the churchMaybe the entracne would be better as there will probably be others around at the cafe at lunchtime

jane313 · 26/07/2004 20:39

ok, the entrance. I'll be with my 13 month yr old son in a purple check pushchair. I'll dress him in something orange for a nice clashing effect.

Hope to see you karen, I should think unless its raining I would want to stay till 2ish at least. I'm sure theres sapce for them to run around there too?

karen99 · 27/07/2004 12:25

Jane313, just about to contact you via CAT.

[may go back to my old talk name afterall as the other's too long to write all the time!]
