Anybody working in or living in/near the city (London) fancy a meet-up on Friday May 7th.

Suggested venue is The Spitz Bistro, 109 Commercial St E1 (in Spitalfields). Not been myself but am told this is a reasonably child friendly venue.

So far :- Me plus ds2 (almost 3), Thomcat plus dd (2)

Anyone else ?

So sorry but can't come now...... Was off yesterday, as DS was not well, and am off tomorrow for my birthday, so really have to get some work done on Friday. Have a nice time and a glass of red for me!!

vivat · 05/05/2004 11:25

Hi Kayleigh - still nothing happening so may come on Friday (but won't bring ds). Will let you know if anything changes (it's my due date on Friday....)

aelita · 05/05/2004 12:45

Hi Frogs,

You won't believe how pathetically glad I am to have Tchibo there! I could do a quickie mid-morning (10?) - DS is at his hungriest by around 10.30/10.45! Or if you could do an afternoon, say around 4, that would be good. But I think you have older kids don't you, so I guess that might not be good for you.

frogs · 06/05/2004 09:45

Hi Aelita

Yes, I have two school-aged children as well as the baby, so 4pm isn't good for me as I'm busy fending off post-school meltdown.

School is just round the corner, though, so anytime between 9.15 and 3.15 is fine. DD2 is very easy-going and will fall in with pretty much anything (poor love, she doesn't have much choice!) so name your day and time...

ragtaggle · 06/05/2004 11:49

Hi - Is May 7th still happening? Is it at the Spitz still. Can I come? I have one dd aged 7 months....

Frogs, shall we say next Fri at 10 then? I'll need to whisk him home for a feed when he gets frantic (or rather attempt to, my current feeding traumas occupy a post of their own right now!) Will look forward to it.

frogs · 06/05/2004 14:58

Friday 14th at 10 sounds great look forward to it! I've just posted on your bfeeding nightmare thread btw hope it sorts itself out.

Kayleigh · 06/05/2004 21:41

Just to say that ds2 has come home from childminder with a temperature. He has had two doses of calpol this evening but is still very hot. Will see how he is in the morning but it looking unlikely that I am going to make it

Will post tomorrow.

Afraid I'm going to have to cancel Got loads of work to do, and can't imagine I'll be able to get away. Hope you all have a fab time (was really looking forward to seeing you all) and hopefully I will meet some of you at the SW London meet next Saturday night?

Kayleigh · 07/05/2004 11:03

We'll be there !! Ds2 is fine, woke up really late but full of the joys of spring. Then we had to rush to view a nursery.
Have confirmed table in my real name and name of Kayleigh.

See you soon

Do, hoxtonchick! I take it you're a local too,

hoxtonchick · 09/05/2004 12:06

Yes! ds (who's 2) & I might come along for a quick coffee if I can bribe him with a ride on Thomas (usually works).

kid · 09/05/2004 20:51

Can I join you there on Friday 8th? DS 2 can keep hoxtonchick's ds company on thomas!?
I will have to check if I'm working that day because I can't remember at the moment!!!

kid · 09/05/2004 20:52

that should have been the 14th of course!!!!

hoxtonchick · 09/05/2004 20:56

I don't think you're working kid, 'cos you work the same alternate Fridays as me & I'm not (have confused myself now...).

kid · 09/05/2004 21:02

Hi Hoxtonchick, I had to mix my days up a bit with that business with my sister. I'll have to check with her tomorrow to see whos doing this friday.

hackneymum · 10/05/2004 15:01

Eek - completely forgot about the meet up Since having ds short term memory is definitely not what it was! Hope to make it to the next one as was looking forward to meeting you all.

hoxtonchick · 10/05/2004 15:06
