Great suggestion, NQC, I would love to meet a few people before the Christmas do at Ruby - am a bit nervous about meeting 100+ drunken MNers for the first time. Baby Max is keen to meet a couple of other London babies as well.

What's the story with the badges? Do we make our own? Are they huge and sparkly, or small and sophisticated? Is there a competition for the most fabulous badge? Am thinking feathers, sequins, possibly a bit of lace ...

OT-ish, KiwiKat, have you been making it to the local mum's drinking nights? I didn't make it on Monday night, too jetlagged, but generally they're a nice night out. I plan to be at the October one, anyway ...

Well, I'm still coming. But no beforehand antics as I only realied a couple of days ago that that is the same day as ds1'birthday So will be doing a birthday trip during the day, rushing home to change, and going straight back into town again!

I'm really excited. There is a vague possibility that I might actually be able to make this. Not specifically flying in from Brazil for this (but of course I would if I could afford it) but if I get the new job I've applied for the Embassy will be sending me on a training course in London at the time of the party. So fingers crossed for a stunning interview on Monday.
