It's going to make me sound like a proper Billy No Mates, but I am due to have baby no 2 in 3 weeks, and I am looking for some mums to meet up with to prevent me climbing up the walls and going insane. I have a 20 month old DS, who is a bit mental, but quite lovely when you get to know him! I'm happy to travel a bit when I have recovered from my CS. Anyone up for it?

Ok i will do. And might email you before that to get to know you abit better if thats ok and tell you bit about me? So its not so much like meeting a total stranger!

tortUREoisechamber · 24/10/2006 15:16

Thats a good idea. Look forward to hearing from you.

O.k lets make a date for a Friday meet-up in Bath, who can do 17th November (think it's a Friday) BHS cafe has got lots of space I hear the Egg is good I hav'nt been so don't know if it can accommodate loads of buggies and there's also Vicky park if for some strange reason it happened to be a really nice day.Oh and there's that soft play place in the leisure centre. What do you all think??

...would love to meet up....have just moved to Somerset (just outside of glastonbury) Yeainaminute...would love to get the low down on the Millfield mums as DS is starting there on Monday !!! DD will start next September and might be in the same class as your DD as she's also 3.5 (4 in feb !!)

Re meet up - Fridays no good for me as DD will be at pre school would love another day though......

Would any mums be interested in a "no children" meet up at the Spa ...on 2nd thoughts not sure about wobbly bits being on show !!!!

twocatsonthebed · 26/10/2006 09:52

I may have to join you later on, as my due date is the 1st...although the Spa does sound very tempting even so.

Steppy, glad you've made it down to Somerset, hope the move wasn't too traumatic and that you're settling in well.

Hi Girls - this is a really late addition to this thread - I have moved to the Bath area, Timsbury after 20 years near London - (Harrow & Ascot). Grew up in Glastonbury so no problems about travelling a bit. I have a DD who's nearly three and pretty out going,I work full time and would love to meet up with some mums at weekends - park, coffe shop?? I'm up for suggestions. I truly am a billy no mates at the moment
