"survivors " meet up

Switching from the relatinship thread- i'm trying to arrange a meet up for those interested. A kind of support group if you like or just see it as a chance to have a break- for anyone who has been through the trauma of being cheated upon by their partner and is now trying to survive (either with or without them now)

The plan is to try and book a Sat to Sunday one night break somewhere as far as possible midway or at least accessable for those who show an iterest. we are aiming for mid/end of June or early July so if for now you could sat if you are interested and wher you are in the country, then I'll try and pin point a date and place- then look for a hotel.

Count me in, am near oldham, but dont' mind travel. Can do mid/end/most june. July is trickier as have family coming to stay but will check dates.

My in-laws live in Manchester so that could be a possibility for me.

BB and I arent survivors as such as our marriages didnt survive but still be great to meet up

Don't think you're weird at all mistressmiggins! I thought of survivors as surviving personally by just having lived to tell the tale whatever the result! Be great to meet you anyhow.

Hello all- great to hear from so many.
Mistressmiggins- I was thinking particularly of you and those in a similar situation when i called it survivors meet up- not just those who are trying to make their marriage survive but those who have had to survive alone- so yes please try and join us if you can (or at the very least we may be able to put those geographically near each other in touch to support one another)
You mentioned Manchester as a possibility and I have to say I'd been wondering that myself. Whilst i appreciate there are a few "down south" somewhere like Manchester would be on all main train and bus routes and there are lote of hotels, also there do seem to be quite a cluster of us in and around Yorkshire.

So first stab (not definate yet open to debate at this satge)

who can mange: Manchester the weekend of Sat 24th /Sun 25th June- staying the sat night if we can sort it? please sign up , then if we decide for sure I'll try book hotel rooms etc
